Stand and one km. from Sangli Railway Station, belonging to ICAI, are proposed to be sold through bidding. Interested parties may send their offer/bid in sealed envelope in prescribed form along with Demand Draft for token money (1% of Bid Amount) drawn in favour of The Secretary, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, payable at New Delhi, to the Branch office, within 21 days of the publication of this advertisement. 3 IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS TO APPLICANT AND TERMS & CONDITIONS 1. This document contains Open Offer Document (Details) and Price Offer, which are to be duly filled in by the applicant. 2. Application forms may be collected from Sangli Branch Office or downloaded from the website of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, i.e., 3. All application shall be accompanied with DD/Pay order for an amount of Rs.3,000/- ( Rupees Three Thousand Only) (non- refundable) in favour of Secretary, The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India payable at New Delhi towards cost of application and all the relevant documents. 4. Bidder should not make any alteration in the offer document without due signature or initials. 5. Duly filled in applications along with Demand Draft for token money (1% of Bid Amount) drawn in favour of The Secretary, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, payable at New Delhi should be kept in two separate sealed envelopes clearly mentioned as Part -I: Open Offer Document (Details) and Part II: Open Offer Document (Price Offer). Both the sealed envelopes to be put into another envelope and it should be superscribed as RESPONSE TO EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR PURCHASE OF LAND AT SANGLI and must be sent either by registered post or speed post to The Chairman, Infrastructure Committee of SANGLI Branch of WIRC of ICAI, Block No 9 & 10, Anandi Vilas Apartment, Near SamratVyayam Mandal, South Shivaji Nagar, Sangli , (MS) or delivered by hand at the Sangli Branch Office. 6. Any bid not accompanied by a Token money (1% of Bid Amount) shall be rejected by ICAI. 7. No interest would be paid by ICAI on Token money Deposit. The Token Money may be forfeited if the bidder withdraws his bid during the period of bid validity i.e. 90 days from the opening of Bid. 8. The bidder shall fill in the rates and amount both in figures as well as in words. 9. If the space in the proforma is insufficient for furnishing full details, such information may be supplemented on separate sheets of paper, stating therein the part for the proforma and serially numbered. 10. Each page of the Bid Document is required to be signed and dated by the Bidder's authorized representative. 11. The application shall be signed by person/persons on behalf of the organization having necessary authorization/ Power of Attorney to do so. 12. The last date of receipt of duly filled in applications is on or before till 5:00 PM. 13. Applications received after the stipulated date and time shall not be entertained. The ICAI shall not be liable for any postal delays whatsoever and applications received after the stipulated time/date are liable to be rejected without giving any reason. 14. In case of incomplete submissions, ICAI shall be under no obligation to give the applicant an opportunity to make good such deficiencies and ICAI may at its discretion treat such applications as incomplete and may not consider for further evaluation. 15. Offer containing false and/or inadequate information is liable for rejection. 16. Conditional offer applications shall be rejected. 3

4 17. ICAI reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offer applications in part or full without assigning any reason thereof. 18. No oral request will be entertained. 19. Bid will be opened on 08/06/2016 at 05:00 PM at ICAI Sangli Branch office at Block No 9 & 10, Anandi Vilas Apartment, Near Samrat Vyayam Mandal, South Shivaji Nagar, Sangli , (MS) in presence of Bidders who choose to be present. Bidders are requested to remain present on the above referred date and timings, for which no separate intimation will be given. 21. In the event of offer document opening day happens to be a holiday then the offers shall be opened on next working day at the same time and venue. 22. ICAI reserves the right of negotiation of bid amount with bidder/s. 23. ICAI shall communicate the acceptance/non acceptance within a period of 30 days of opening of Bid. In case of unsuccessful applicants, the TOKEN MONEY/demand draft amount of bid amount shall be returned to them. 24. The cost/expenses incurred towards stamp duty, Registration and other statutory charges shall be exclusively borne by the Bidder/s only. 25. While making the payment to ICAI, the buyer may deduct Income Tax at source as per prevailing provision of income Tax Act.1961 against ICAI PAN No.AAAAT7798M. 26. For all the disputes and differences that may arise out of or any way touching or concerning this document or transaction arising thereunder whatsoever, the courts at Sangli shall have exclusive Jurisdiction.
