1 ELECTION COMMISSION OF INDIA New Delhi Tel.No No.203/Pest Control/2011/ Dated: 3 rd January, 2012 TENDER NOTICE Election Commission of India, invites tenders for ANNUAL MAINTENANCE CONTRACT FOR PEST CONTROL TREATMENT FOR ELECTION COMMISSION OF INDIA, NIRVACHAN SADAN for the period of one year from Delhi based authorized dealers of the companies, which meet the following norms/terms & condition:- TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR THE CONTRACT OF PEST CONTROL TREATMENT The contractor has to carry out the necessary Pest control work mainly in respect of the following pests: (i) Bats (ii) Rats and Borer (iii) Mosquitoes (iv) Flies and flying insects (v) Silver fish (vi) Cockroaches and other general pests (vii) Termites etc. 1. The period of the contract will be initially for one year which will be extended for another one year, if work/services found to be satisfactory. 2. The contractor will be responsible to keep all the rooms/corridors and bath-rooms free from pests including wooden furniture of Nirvachan Sadan Building and should depute experienced persons for execution of job along with all material, machines and manpower. Effective Pesticide to be used of standard make and approved Brand. 3. The contractor shall be responsible for general disinfections and bats cockroach, rodent and termite control. All necessary sprays/gels shall be applied for this purpose. 4. The spray of insecticides pest control services will be done in a month. 5. A copy of valid license and copy of latest Income Tax return along-with last three years Returns should be enclosed. 6. TDS will be deducted at source as per rules. 7. In case, the firm backing out in midstream without any explicit consent of this office, it will be liable to the recovery of the higher rate which may have to be incurred by Election Commission of India on pest control treatment for the balance period of the contract by alternative means. The bill amount of the period would also be forfeited. The firm would also be debarred from participating in future tenders of the Election Commission of India as also we shall initiate action for black listing the firm. 8. No transportation charges on this account will be paid by this office. 9. The Election Commission of India reserves the right to cancel the contract any time during the currency of the contract without giving any reason,

2 whatsoever, if the services provided by the firm are not found to be satisfactory. 10. No advance payment in any case would be made. 11. The payment will be made by Election Commission of India on monthly basis upon satisfactory completion of job and production of bill. No advance payment will be made. 12. Police verification report in respect of all employees who will visit our premises shall be submitted to us. All employees shall convey valid photo identity card issued by the Proprietor. 13. Wherever necessary, PIR sensors installed in branches shall be sanitized insecticides Gels so as to prevent bats & wall lizards from crawling over it. 14.
