The minimum criteria for eligibility will be as under: i. The Transport Operator company / agency should have all the required statutory licenses to continue business in the declared line of activity which should be the primary activity. ii. iii. iv. The applicant should have minimum experience of 5 years in the line of activity Applicant Transport Operator should be an Income Tax Assessee with a PAN No. and Tax Returns must be up-to-date. The Transport Operator should be a Proprietory /Private Ltd/ Public Limited company/ Co-operative Society/ Govt undertaking. Page 2

You are requested to send us your quotation in two separate sealed covers duly signed and superscribed as: Part(A): Contract for Transport Operators (Bank on Wheels at Hyderabad / Visakhapatnam/Tirupati) Technical Bid and Commercial Terms and EMD Part (B): Contract for Transport Operators (Bank on Wheels at Hyderabad / Visakhapatnam/Tirpati)-Financial Bid/Price Bid 4. The above two separate sealed covers should be addressed to the Assistant General Manager, State Bank of India, ATM Operations Department, Local Head Office (First Floor), Bank Street, Koti, Hyderabad , so as to reach us latest by at 3.00 pm or dropped in the Tender Box kept at the Premises and Estate Department, 3 rd Floor of the LHO building. Applications received after the said time and date will not be entertained. 5. Separate Bids should be submitted for HYDERABAD, VISAKHAPATNAM and TIRUPATI 6. Transport Operators should give their Income Tax PAN No. allotted by Income Tax authorities and Registration No. allotted by sales Tax authorities. Xerox copies of the certificates of Income Tax Authority and Sales Tax Authority duly certified by a Gazetted Officer of the State/Central Government should be enclosed. If such certificates are not enclosed, the Technical Bid will be rejected summarily. 7. Mere fulfillment of the criteria does not necessarily ensure short listing. 8. The Bank reserves its right to distribute the contract under the above tender to more than one Transport Operator at L 1 rate, if considered necessary in the interest of the Bank. 9. The Bank reserves the right to reject all or any quotation without assigning any reason or to call for fresh quotations/at any time at its own option. 10. Quotation(s) not fulfilling any or all of the conditions prescribed or which are incomplete are liable to be rejected. 11. Canvassing in connection with the quotations is strictly prohibited. 12. Transport Operators participation is desirable at the time of opening of Tenders, as stated hereunder. However, if the Transport Operators or their representatives do not turn up at the appointed time, the quotations will be opened in their absence. 13. Please note that two separate covers for Contract for Transport Operators Part A & B should be submitted along with the enclosures as mentioned above. If part A or Part B alone is submitted or if part A and part B are submitted in one envelope instead of separate envelopes, then the tender will be rejected summarily. 14. Relatives of employees and officers of the Bank are not eligible to apply. 15. Jurisdiction of arbitration: In case of any disputes, Jurisdiction of the court will be at Hyderabad only. 16. 6 TERMS AND CONDITIONS i. Make & Model of the Vehicle Required by the Bank: TATA LPT 407 ii. The vehicle to be provided will be brand new vehicle and the body of the vehicle should be fabricated to accommodate the following machinery / equipment and seating for 4 people (2 Bank employees and 2 customers), after finalization of the design by us. The Agency / Company (Transport Operator) should provide 5 KVA Generator, two ACs of 1.5 ton capacity of reputed make and fire extinguishers. The Company/Agency has to provide the vehicle with necessary setup and cabling layout to connect cameras, closed circuit television (CCTV), Air condition Units (ACs), Uninterrupted Power Supply System (UPS) etc. and provide adequate lighting in the vehicle. v. Space on the outer side of the vehicle will be used for advertising of the Bank s products and services. vi. vii. viii. ix. Fuel & Consumables: The fuel and other consumables for the vehicle, Generator and ACs have to be provided by the Agency / Company (Transport Operator). Repairs and Maintenance: All repairs and maintenance of the vehicle, Generator and ACs will be the sole responsibility of the Agency / Company. Driver: The Agency / Company should provide trained and medically fit Driver(s) and their antecedents should be verified by the police. The Agency / Company have to pay the drivers as per the minimum wages Act and their working hours should be as per the applicable legal provisions. However, the Agency/Company has to make available the services of the driver(s) for not less than 12 (Twelve) hours a day without any extra charges. The Company/Agency has to obtain necessary approvals/permissions from all the concerned authorities like RTO, Police Department, Local Body, etc., as may be required for plying of the said vehicle throughout the jurisdiction of Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam and Tirupati. Bank shall have the right to specify the requirement of placing the vehicle at specific locations at specified points / periods of time. x. The Company/Agency has to pay all the necessary fees, taxes, levies, etc., as may be payable and applicable for plying of the said vehicle from time to time xi. Contract Period: The Agreement will be for a period of 3 (three) years from the date of commencement of the hiring of the vehicle, with an option at the sole discretion of the Bank to renew for such periods as may be decided by the Bank. The bank however reserves its right for any reason whatsoever to discontinue this agreement by giving 60 days notice to the Transport Operator. Page 6
7 xii. The company/agency shall supervise the vehicle to avoid any damages to the machines in course of transit. The company/agency will ensure the safety and security of the ATM, Recycler, Pass Book Printer and any other machine / equipment that Bank will install and the related instruments. xiii. Housekeeping: Cleanliness of the machines, equipment, interiors etc are the sole responsibility of the company / agency xiv. xv. xvi. xvii. xviii. xix. xx. The Vehicle should run for a minimum of 12 hours per day, including travel time from the link branch to destination and back and average of 100 km per day and 3,000 km per month. In the event of Bank requires the vehicle for extra time and distance over and above 12 working hours per day and 3,000 km per month, the Bank shall pay the company/agency Rs 200/- per extra hour and Rs 30/- per extra km. Penalty Clause: In the event of the company/agency fails to provide the service as per above terms and conditions and / or if the vehicle is not available for Bank s service on any day (except Sundays and 3 National Holidays), the Bank shall levy a penalty of Rs 2,000/- per day or part thereof and proportionate recovery in the monthly rent payable to the agency. Earnest Money Deposit (EMD): EMD of Rs.36,000/- (Rupees thirty six thousand only) for each Tender separately for Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam and Tirupati, to be submitted along with the tender in the form of Demand Draft favouring The Assistant General Manager, ATM Operations Department, State Bank of India, Hyderabad and enclosed to Technical Bid. Bank reserves the right to forfeit the EMD amount if the company/agency does not take up the work as stipulated. No interest will be paid on EMD amount. The L 1 bidder has to deposit as Security Deposit, an amount equivalent to 2% of the amount quoted (inclusive of EMD of Rs.36,000/-) within 7 days from the date of issue of work order. The security deposit will be deposited in the Bank in the joint names of the Assistant General Manager, ATM Operations and the Transport Operator. The Security Deposit will be refunded on termination of the contract, after adjusting the dues, if any, payable by the Transport Operator to the Bank. Any claim arising out of acts of omission or commission of the Transport Operator will be settled within 30 days from the date of receipt of the valid claim documents from the Bank. Generally the Transport Operator shall indemnify and keep indemnified the Bank without any demur against any loss or damage that may be suffered /incurred by the Bank by reason of Transport Operator s handling the transportation of the said Machines from time to time as aforesaid. Jurisdiction of arbitration: In case of any disputes, Jurisdiction of the court will be at Hyderabad only. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA Transport operators who do not have minimum 5 years experience in the line of activity need not apply. Page 7
