Credit will be made to your household account if a class or activity is cancelled by administration. If cancellation is requested by the patron, the registration fee will not be credited. 3 General Information for Registration Please Read Carefully Participation in most of the Riverbank State Park classes and activities requires a registration fee. Registration fees are not refundable, and the registration card is not transferable. Please note that some program activities may require an additional fee or daily admission charge. A RBSP ID Card is required for all persons registered in activities/courses. 1. Under no circumstance will anyone be allowed to participate in programmed activities without first registering and paying the appropriate activity fee. 2. All registration will be conducted through the Mail-In/Drop Off process. Parental signature is required for children or youth under the age of A RBSP Photo I.D. card is required for all persons 2 years of age and older. 4. Applications are accepted and processed based on date of receipt. Some classes/programs may have limited enrollment. Due to timing, those who mail/drop off this registration application early will have a greater possibility of being enrolled in their preferred activities. 5. Refunds for classes or activity fees will not be made unless a class or activity is canceled by the Administration. Household credit will only be honored within the same season/registration of that same year. Fees and schedules are subject to change. 6. Senior Citizens and the Physically Challenged can participate in most of the free programs, activities, and classes. They may receive daily discounts or free admission. A RBSP ID Card is required for all persons registered in activities/courses. PROOF OF AGE OR DISABILITY IS REQUIRED AT THE TIME OF REGISTRATION, OR WITH YOUR MAIL-IN APPLICATION FOR ALL SENIOR/PHYSICALLY CHALLENGED CLASSES. FIRST TIME MEMBERS ONLY. 7. Payment for classes or activities should be made in the form of 1) money order payable to N.Y.S.O.P.R.H.P. - Riverbank. Or 2) credit card (Visa, Master Card, American Express or Novus/Discover) Minimum of $12 for credit card charges. No Personal Checks. DO NOT SEND PAYMENT WITH YOUR APPLICATION! 8. All programs, activities and classes for special populations have been audited and determined to be accessible to the Physically Challenged. 9. Riverbank State Park has no public parking facilities. 10. Riverbank State Park reserves the right to dismiss any participant due to unacceptable behavior. 11. Riverbank State Park reserves the right to make last minute schedule and program changes and to close facilities/cancel classes in time of emergency or for safety reasons. Activity fees/memberships will not be pro-rated and compensation or reimbursement requests will not be honored. 8 Program Specific Requirements and Pre-requisites AQUATICS PROGRAMS * Little People Aquatic Programs: Parent or guardian must register and participate at all levels. For Parent Tot and Parent & Pre-Schooler Classes: Parent or Guardian must be in water with child at all times. ** Youth Aquatic Classes are for Youth Ages 7-14 only. Participants may register for only one section. Redtails Activity Fee is due in full at time of registration and must be in the form of a Money Order ONLY, made payable to NHT-Riverbank. All other fees: cash or credit card Pool admission fee is not required. Additional fees for special courses, materials, books and Red Cross Certification are not included. PREREQUISITES "LEARN-TO-SWIM" LEVEL II, III, ADVANCED SWIM LEVEL IV & V and Lifeguarding tomorrow training: Must successfully complete the preceding "Learn-to-Swim" Level classes and be assessed by the instructor of the specific class. REDTAILS SWIM TEAM: Must successfully complete the Advanced Swim Classes and be assessed by the Swim Coach of the Redtails at time of registration. LIFEGUARD/ WATER SAFETY INSTRUCTOR TRAINING: Water pre-test will be scheduled. Participants will be informed prior to test date.
