Pick-up/Drop-off: Pick-ups can be made Monday through Saturday between 8:30 and 15:00 (Vancouver pick-ups can be made on Sundays between 9:00 and 13:00 from 01 May to 30 Sep). Returns can be made between 8:30 and 11:00 Monday through Saturday. 2 Unless otherwise noted, centers are closed on Sunday and the following public holidays: 01/Jan, 13/Feb (Vancouver), 20/Feb (Calgary/Toronto/Edmonton), 14/Apr, 22/May, 01/Jul, 07/Aug (Vancouver), 04/Sep, 09/Oct, 11/Nov, 25/Dec, and 26/Dec. Minimum rental duration: 7 days, or 14 days for one way trips. Collision deductible reducer insurance: Daily fee which reduces the deductible for vehicle damage to CAD750 with exclusions in general conditions. Option cannot be taken when departing from Whitehorse between 01 Jan and 31 Mar and between 01 Nov and 31 Dec. 3 Portable generator: CAD10/day GENERAL CONDITIONS This contract, regardless of the manner in which the booking and settlement were executed, is an agreement between the company which owns the fleet, the"lessor", and the person signing the contract, the "renter". By taking possession of the vehicle, the renter implies their acceptance of the general conditions of rental below. Usage of the Motorhome: The renter agrees to use the vehicle in a prudent and respectful manner, driving in a judicious and normal fashion, using the vehicle only for personal travel and never subletting, or transporting other persons for a charge. The renter will make every effort to maintain the fluid and oil levels of the vehicle. The renter agrees to not participate in any game, race, rally or other competion of any nature, as well as test-drives or training. The renter agrees to not use the vehicle for any illegal purposes, or any purposes not outlined by the manufacturer, and to never overload the vehicle by transporting more passengers than have been indicated on the rental agreement. The renter agrees to not tow a trailer or any similar vehicle, and to make no changes to the vehicle. License and minimum driver age: Driver must be 21 years of age and a normal driving permit is required. Insurance: The daily rental rate includes civil liability insurance which covers the renter up to an amount of CAD5,000,000 for any claim resulting from bodily injury or third party property damage during the usage of the vehicle. The daily rental rate also includes collision damage insurance with a CAD7,500 deductible per occurance. All coverages and insurance shall be considered null and void should the terms of the rental contract be broken. Collision deductible reducer insurance: Minus exclusions listed below, this option reduces the deductible of the collision damage insurance to CAD750 (option cannot be taken for departures from Whitehorse between 01 Jan and 31 Mar, and between 01 Nov and 31 Dec). This insurance covers the replacement of the vehicle when the renter's vehicle becomes undrivable even if the renter is at fault (unless the damage is a direct result of negligence, misuse, or violation of restrictions). The following damages are covered under the collision deductible reducer insurance with a deductible of CAD750 per occurance: Damages to the vehicle as a result of an accident/collision (including the top and underside of the vehicle) Damages caused by a hit and run, vandalism, theft, or fire Damage due to a break in Tire Damages Windshield and window damage Damages to the vehicle as a result of an impact with an animal Damages caused while performing back-up maneuvers Damages caused by a natural disaster Damages to the interior of the vehicle Replacement of lost keys or retrieval of keys locked in a vehicle Collision deductible reducer PLUS insurance: Minus exclusions listed below, when this option is taken in combination with the CDR above, the deductible is reduced to CAD0.00 and the following damages are covered: Damages to the vehicle as a result of an accident/collision (including the top and underside of the vehicle) Damages caused by a hit and run, vandalism, theft, or fire Damage due to a break in Tire Damages Windshield and window damage Damages to the vehicle as a result of an impact with an animal Damages caused while performing back-up maneuvers Damages caused by a natural disaster Damages to the interior of the vehicle Replacement of lost keys or retrieval of keys locked in a vehicle Insurance exclusions: The renter will be held fully responsible in the following circumstances: Any damages caused from negligence or intentional misuse Any damages caused by a non-authorized driver (a driver not included on the rental contract) Any damages caused by not maintaining the proper fluid levels of the vehicle Any damages caused by using an incorrect fuel, contaminated fuel, or contaminated engine fluid Any damages caused by not maintainint the proper air pressure in all tires Any damages caused by misuse of the brakes (overheating), the transmission, or any other power train parts Any damages caused while operating the vehicle in a non-authorized area Any damages caused by ignoring height warnings or traffic signals Any damages caused by a driver under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or other substances Any damages caused by driving on frozen-over roads Any damages caused by the use of snow chains Any damages caused by a breach of any part of the rental contract Any damages or loss of personal property Driving restrictions: It is forbidden to operate the vehicle in the following areas: Mexico, Death Valley in California

4 between 01 Jun and 31 Aug, Non-public roads or non-paved roads. The lessor does not authorize the renter to leave the vehicle without surveilance in the following areas: Montréal, Québec, Ottowa, New York (see insurance exclusions) Northern Territory travel: For Yukon Territory, Canol Road (Hwy 6) North of Ross River and Aishihik Lake Road are not covered by insurance. The road between Dease Lake and Telegragh Creek are only accessible by 4X4 trucks. For Alaska, Dalton Highway between Coldfoot and Prudhoe Bay is only accessible by 4X4 truck and only between 15 Jun and 15 Sep. McCarthy road between Chitina and McCarthy is not covered by insurance. Return of vehicle: The vehicle must be returned in a clean state. This includes kitchen, bathroom, and common areas. A penalty of CAD40 per hour of cleaning will be charged for any vehicle returned in an insufficient state. If the vehicle is returned without the gray and black water tanks having been emptied, a penalty of CAD25 will be applied. Washing of the exterior of the vehicle is not required unless the cleaning of the vehicle causes a delay in the next pick-up of the vehicle. Renters who travel into the Norther Territories are recommended to wash the vehicle before return to avoid any potential delays in pick-up. All vehicle are non-smoling and a cleaning fee of CAD200 will be applied if smoke is detected. A penalty will also be applied if the vehicle is returned with less gas than when it was picked-up. Repairs: The renter does not need authorization to perform a vehicle repair under CAD50. Prior approval from the rental center is required for any amount above CAD50 and the renter must present a reciept to the lessor at time of drop-off in order to receive a reimbursement. In case of an accident: Make sure that all involved parties are ok. Call the police and an ambulance (if necessary). Contact the rental center. Exchange information with the third party (Name, address, license number, make and model of vehicle or damaged third party property, and insurance company of the third party), do not admit any fault. Fill out a police report within 24 hours and complete and sign the "accident report" located inside the vehicle. Obtain a copy of the police report and send immediately to the lessor. Note down the exact location of the accident. Use a camera to to take photos or videos to show the exact circomstances fo the accident. If there are any witnesses, mark down their contact information and include with report. Vehicle recovery/towing: In a situation where you find your vehicle is stuck in mud, snow, or a ditch, immediately contact the roadside assistance line, who can partially or completely cover the costs of the vehicle recovery. Towing costs can be extremely high if the renter sets up the tow on their own. Recover will not be covered by insurance if it is not organized by the roadside assistance team (Ford/Dodge/Chevy) Breakdowns and malfunctions: It is asked of the renter to take the following actions in the case of a breakdown or equipment failure: Mechanical breakdowns: If there is a minor mechanical problem (ex. keys left in vehicle, or dead battery), call the roadside assistance line (Ford, Chervrolet, Dodge). In the case of a large mechanical breakdown the roadside assistance line must be contacted, but it advisable to contact the rental center first. Equipment malfunction inside the motorhome: In the case of an equipment malfunction inside the motorhome such as the refrigerator, stove, oven, air conditioner, water reserves, or waste water system, contact the next closest rental center during their office hours, or call the free emergency line. Flat tires: Contact the assistance line and also contact the rental center. Animals: Domestic animals are not authorized in any of the vehicle. A surcharge of CAD100 can be applied (strictly on demand). Traffic violations and fines: The renter will be held responsible for the entirety of the rental contract for any fines, traffic violations, or charges. In addition the any fees or fines, the lessor reserves the right to apply an administration fee of CAD25. Truck Campers: It is strictly forbidden to remove the camper from the truck. Modification fees: First modification at no cost, each subsequent midification charged at 30 each. Cancellation fees: - Cancellation notified more than 48 days before departure: 10% of the rental price (min 100 ) - Cancellation notified between 47 and 33 days before departure: 20% of the rental price (min 750 ) - Cancellation notified between 32 and 17 days before departure: 80% of the rental price (min 1000 ) - Cancellation notified less than 17 days before departure: 100% of rental price No reimbursement will be given for returning a vehicle before the determined drop-off date. In the case of a one way trip, there will be an addition 200 cancellation fee on top of the normal fees. Litigation: The present general conditions are subject to French law. Any litigation arising from the execution, interpretation, or use of the rental contract will be brought before the court of juristiction where CampingCar-Online is located.
