2 Local Service District Deer Park-Vineland Road Committee Meeting O'Regan Agencies Limited 8 Cornwall Ave Monday May 1, :30pm Deer Park - Vineland Road a community built by friends Present: Dana Hillier Kevin O'Regan Dave Chaulk Wanda Highmore John Brown Absent: John Hussey Jeff Fifield 1 Call to Order Dana Hillier called the meeting to order at at 5:30pm 2 Acceptance of Minutes of meeting July 21, 2016 Motion by John Brown to accept minutes of July 21, 2016 meeting. Seconded by Wanda Highmore. A vote was taken and the motion carried. 3 Acceptance of Minutes of meeting August 24, 2016 Motion by John Brown to accept minutes of August 24, 2016 meeting. Seconded by Dave Chaulk. A vote was taken and the motion carried. 4 Collection Discussion Collection are progressing with almost 400 residents paid. Of note there have been several properties sold that the change of ownership was not confirmed by the committee.

3 Budget Motion by Dave Chaulk to accept the 2017 Budget as circulated. Seconded by Kevin O'Regan. A vote was taken and the motion carried. 6 Financial Update Kevin O'Regan reported that cash on hand at todays date is 96, With current commitments and estimate of funds owed to Holyrood, the LSD has approximately 20, to commit to 2017 work. (this does not include the 12,500 Reserve fund held as a GIC) 7 Road Report Dave Chaulk reported that the road system has held well over the winter months. There are some minor trouble areas that need to be assessed. Dave and John to review road network, with a attention to determining if any drains are blocked road work to be assessed. Discussion around recommended contractors for road work. Recommendation by Dave Chaulk that any work involving road surface or infrastructure work would to engaged with main road contractor Triple A Excavating. 8 New Business Eastern Waste Management holding a clean up event in the end of May and in September. Suggestion to post to our website a list of acceptable and unacceptable items for collection. Resend to the Law Society a reminder to contact the LSD on transfers of property within the LSD. Contact Holyrood Fire Department for a report on the GPS mapping project of the LSD. 13 Adjournment Motion to Adjourn the meeting at 7:05 pm by Wanda Highmore. Seconded by John Brown. A vote was taken and the motion carried.
