I have taken care of the normal duties and helped Activities with the campout. We will be having our Treasure audit this coming Saturday the 13 th at Robyn s house in Everett. I am hoping to have some GSR s attend and be a part of along with any Officers or members simply wanting to be a part of. We are doing a little potluck and rumor has it there will be some darn good grub. Thank you for the opportunity to serve this Body, Ray W Vice Chair: Hello Family, I just want to remind you of the open positions that we need to fill here at the Area and PR level: RCM, RCM2, Outreach Chair, PI Coordinator, C&E Rep, and next month SINAC Liaison are all up for election. If you are interested in any of these positions, please stay for the second half of our meeting, or if we don t fill them and you know of anyone that is willing, encourage them to come join us next month. Also, as your Web Coordinator, I was contacted by Unity Center of Peace located in Woodinville, WA asking if we would like to rent space and start a meeting there. Assistant Recording Secretary: No report, Jessica Treasurer: See Appendix B Assistant Treasurer: Combined Literature Chair: Activities Chair: Hello Everyone, Due to Recovery by the River I am not able to make it here today. The campout was really fun and everyone seemed to have a great time. Thank you to anyone that helped in any form to make this event a success. Thank you to Ray and Shannon for planning and preparing all of our meals. The food was awesome. I would also like to thank to thank the activities committee for all of your hard work and dedication in planning Recovery by the River and especially the committee members who were able to make the campout and represent the committee. I do not have any other information to provide you with about the campout because we just finished it today. I will have that information by next area. Our next event is Monster Mash the October carnival and dance. It is October 25thh and will be held at the Capital Hill Presbyterian; Church located at 1729 Harvard Ave in Seattle. The carnival is from The dance is from We will have hot dogs, hamburgers, corndogs and popcorn, as will some concessions will be available. It is a 5$ Costume Dance. There will be a costume contest with prizes. We are asking home groups to be responsible for a carnival booth, so GSR s please talk to your home group and contact e if you are interested. Also, candy donations would be great. We will also have a resentment pie up for auction and Tony T. has graciously volunteered his face to the highest bid. I look forward to seeing all the kids and families there as well as my NA family. The Activities committee meets the 1 st and 3 rd Thursday of every the Capital Hill Presbyterian 6:30 pm. Our next meeting is September 13th. We will continue to discuss the Carnival and Dance. All are welcome! An ad hoc is being formed to educate and/or formulate a plan to gather votes for up and coming CAR voting. Please contact your Alt.Regional Delegate, Bonner S. for more info on the ad hoc. When making a regional donation/s directly to the regional Post Office box in Shoreline please be sure to make checks and/or money orders payable to WNIRNA and include an address to receive a receipt. Wenatchee is holding monthly GSF meetings for any interested parties. I would like to thank the Seattle Area Service body and the WNIR Service body for allowing me to serve as an RCM for the last couple of years, what an awesome experience! In loving Service, Jim L. 4 Conventions and Events Representative: SINAC Liaison: Hello Seattle fellowship, Not much to report. The committee took one month off to gather final reports and let the remaining checks and bills clear. The Wrap up meeting of the SINAC 2014 committee will be held Saturday Oct. 4 th at 10am in the Greenwood Christian 8018 Fremont Ave N. Committees will deliver their final reports and the chair for SINAC 2016 will be elected. I recommend anyone interested should attend. Following the meeting the audit for SINAC2014 will take place. This will conclude my position and close the books for the Seattle International Narcotics Anonymous Convention of 2014; very unique event which I am very grateful to have been a part of. I will remain available for the new elected Liaison. Thank you for allowing me to serve the worldwide fellowship of NA, Shaun S. Unity Day Chair: Good afternoon every one, First thing we had our meeting for the month of August and had a Very low attendance at this committee meeting. I'll be looking to ramp up the commitment level and feel as though after our first event people will feel a little more excitement about being of service. Our food chair will be meeting with learning days about our menu and tickets are being printed And be ready for distribution and sale in the next few weeks. We have chosen our dates for various events and will have a second meeting to confirm those dates this Wednesday sept the 10th. Those dates will be posted in October news/ minutes as to not affect other Seattle area activity events. Our next meeting is to be held on sept 27th at third place books in Lake forest park at two pm. We have requested a copy of the 2014 unity day event and fund raiser budgets for reference our treasurers address was giving to SASC treasurer with this request but we have not received any communication or info regarding this request, we will inquire again on this today. We would like to request the past years unity day guidelines. As well to the past bill still owed to Lynnwood convention center we requested a copy of the contract and bill to have for a meeting with them to resolve this. We as a committee will have a resolution on this matter for October area. Thank you for being of service Tim PR Chair: Hello Seattle area, Your PR Subcommittee held its monthly meeting earlier today at this location. We are continuing to plan H&I/PI & PR Learning Days and all are encouraged to get involved in the planning or assist the days of the event. The event will take place 11/ 7 th and 8 th at the Edmonds Lutheran Church. Unity day will be doing lunch and dinner and Eastside NA will be selling beverages and snacks. If anyone would like to get involved with this effort please contact Jimmy, Julia, or I or show up at the meeting tonight. Our subcommittee is in need of a PI Coordinator & Outreach Coordinator Hospitals & Institutions: This month we oriented 5 new members for H&I and Helpline services. H&I conducted 24 panels last month and elected 3 new panel leaders. We currently have 2 panels open. OPEN PANELS: 1 st Thursday - Evergreen Manor (Women) 2 nd Monday - Seamar KC Jail Status: We are working to stabilize our relationship with our contact at the King County Jail. We have filled 2 of our 4 men s panels this month. We are looking into panels at Thunderbird and the Salvation Army.

5 PR voted on how we can best carry the message to with our fund raising monies. We will spend a portion of our money providing Basic Texts to institutions as follows: 15 each to: Seamar (adult and youth), RCKC, King County Jail (men & women) and Evergreen In addition, we will look into the cost of bus signs.
