3 Cash available for ECCNA 20 Basic Text Distribution (per previous report) = I received an estimate from NAWS giving us our net prices (after discount and shipping). It comes (within $100) to 54 cases of books. The ECCNA 21 Host account at Bank of America has been set up. Website Kim A I updated the AB minutes on the site, but there were no HC minutes this month. Added tonight s meeting to the website calendar. Last month I added the ECCNA News Sign-Up link so we can begin to compile addresses and have an easy way to send s to our list. I also added the Host Committee Events Link and Calendar. Host Chair 20- Victor H Dear Warden/Superintendent, I am writing this correspondence on behalf of The East Coast Convention of Narcotics Anonymous (ECCNA). Every year ECCNA holds a convention to benefit jails/prisons in 22 states along the eastern section of the United States. The benefit to jails/institutions is in the form of our Narcotics Anonymous Basic Text. Our Basic Text was published in 1981 and since then, there are almost two million copies in print. The Basic Text outlines how the program of Narcotics Anonymous works. Please accept this box of complimentary Basic Texts. We hope that you will make these books available to those individuals in your institution who are suffering from the disease of addiction. Fundraising is going slow and steady activities planned thru March. We are being supported by the surrounding areas as well as our own. All is well. Planning walk thru of college with committee. Work out any concerns AB may have with contract get that signed. Any questions or concerns let me know. 6 ILS Elizabeth Nominations / Elections: none Liaison reports OLD BUSINESS: 1) 1. 1) Book distribution--- Motion will be to send one case (to be 24 English books and 4 Spanish) to each of the prisons on a list given by Tri-State Region and 34 books (29 English and 5 Spanish) to each of the remaining 23 regions on the East Coast. Total is 1,510 books at a total cost of approx.. $16, unanimous 2) Budget --- motion to approve with change of registration packets to $2, unanimous 3) Contract --- Motion to approve contract as discussed made by Al seconded by Victor-- unanimous NEW BUSINESS: 1) Send regional letter and financial report to AB members for approval to start the mailing process..
