2 TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR SUPPLY OF FEED TO NANDANKANAN DURING Sealed tenders duly filled in and signed in full are invited for supply of feed items (as indicated in tender papers) for the animals of Nandankanan Zoological Park during the financial year, The sealed tender should be addressed to the Deputy Director, Nandankanan Zoological Park, P.O.:Barang, Dist.:Khurda, Pin and superscribed Tender for supply of animal Feed at Nandankanan during the year at the top left hand corner of the envelop and to be submitted in the office of the Deputy Director, Nandankanan by 5.00 P.M Tenders will be opened at A.M. of in the office of Deputy Director, Nandankanan Zoological Park, in the presence of a sub-committee headed by Deputy Director. The tenderers or their authorized representatives shall remain present at the time of tender opening. 3. No tender shall be considered without GST registration certificate & copy of monthly return acknowledgement for the month of February 2018 or onwards month. 4. Tenders received beyond the scheduled time shall not be opened. 5. Once opened, no tender will be allowed to be withdrawn till finalization of tender process. 6. The tenderer shall furnish the following documents with the tender paper: a) Earnest Money Deposit (E.M.D) in shape of Bankers Cheque/Demand Draft drawn on any Nationalized Bank at Bhubaneswar/ Barang/ Cuttack (in favour of Deputy Director, Nandankanan Zoological Park) for the amount noted against each item of feed in the tender paper. Tender without EMD shall not be entertained. No request for treating previously available amount / Security Deposit / Bill with Director, Nandankanan Biological Park / Deputy Director, Nandankanan Zoological Park shall be entertained towards adjustment of present EMD. b) A recent passport size coloured photo graph duly signed by the tenderer to be pasted in the space given on the front page of the Tender Paper. c) A copy of Voter Identity card/ Adhar Card /Driving license as proof of identity. d) Copy of driving license / copy of electric or telephone bill of February-2018 / copy of the pass book posted up to date as proof of residential address. e) Copy of GST registration certificate & copy of monthly return acknowledgement for the month of February 2018 or onwards month. f) Valid Bank Guarantee for an amount of 1.00 lakhs from any nationalized bank is mandatory for all tenders except in case of Sri Gangadhar Rout, Sri Babaji Swain, Sri Santosh Kumar Sahoo, Sri Jogeswar Baliarsingh and Syed Minhaz Uddin. g) Copy of PAN CARD.

3 7. It will be the choice of the tenderer to offer the rates for any feed items. The rate offered should be written both in words and figures clearly and separately. Over written figures will be treated as invalid. The tenderer shall put his full signature in the space provided for the purpose. 8. Tender form can be obtained from the office of the Deputy Director, Nandankanan Zoological Park from during office hours as well as from website of Nandankanan Zoological Park on payment of 2360/- (Rupees Two Thousand Three Hundred Sixty) only inclusive of 18% GST. The tender papers downloaded from website must be accompanied with Bank Draft of 2360/- (Rupees Two Thousand Three Hundred Sixty) only drawn in favour of the Deputy Director, Nandankanan Zoological Park in any nationalized Bank payable at Bhubaneswar. The cost of tender papers is not refundable under any circumstances. 9. Persons who are recorded to be habitual defaulter in supply of feed / feed items and the persons against whom criminal proceedings are pending will not be eligible to participate in the tender. Any such supplier who has violated the terms and conditions prescribed in connection with any transaction in any previous occasion shall also not be allowed to participate in the tender. 10. In case where the probable value of feed to be supplied during the period exceeds 15000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand) only, the tenderer shall be required to produce Bank Guarantee for 1,00,000/ The successful tenderer shall be required to execute an agreement for faithful observance of the terms & conditions and shall deposit Security Money (Security Deposit) equal to 10% of the total value of supply. 12. The successful tenderer shall pay 10% of the total value of annual supply as Security Deposit at the time of agreement. 13. The Earnest Money Deposit shall be forfeited to Govt. in case the tenderer withdraw from the tender or fails to deposit the Security Deposit at the time for signing the agreement shall not turn up to sign the agreement within stipulated period after the rate is accepted. 14. The rate offered should be inclusive of all charges and delivery at Nandankanan Zoological Park. The supplier is to quote the value of goods and amount of GST charged separately as applicable for the year The tree fodder meant for Raj Bhawan Deer Park is to be delivered at Raj Bhawan. The cost of fodder includes the value of fodder as the delivery charges at RBDP. The fodder would be received by the staff employed at the park within 9.00 AM to 4 P.M 16. Substandard supply will not be accepted and the contract will be liable for termination with forfeiture of Security Deposit for breach of contract at any time without notice. 17. The quantities of feed mentioned in Col.3 & 4 of each items shall vary depending on the number of animals present in the zoo and the successful tenderer will have to supply as per actual requirement from time to time.

4 18. In case of daily supply, the feed item/items should reach the weighing station of Nandankanan Zoological Park before 8.30 AM daily. No feed material shall be received after 9.30AM. Tree Fodder shall be received by 11.00AM. In case of any deviation in timing, the contract / agreement shall be terminated. 19. In case of short supply particularly in case of fish (Rohi, Kerandi, Gadisha) the contractor shall be required to pay the differential cost if purchased departmentally to compensate/ adjust the short supply & such payment shall be recovered from the monthly bill of the respective contractor. 20. Applicable taxes (TDS) as per prevailing rate & rules would be deducted from the bill of the Suppliers. 21. Once the tender is finalized, the supplier has to furnish two pass port size photographs (duly attested by a Gazetted Officer) and three specimen signatures (in duplicate sets) at the time of execution of agreement or prior to receipt of first bill whichever is earlier. 22. The authority reserves the right to place order of supply, fully or partly to one or more tenderers in respect of any item of feed. 23. The authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tenders without assigning any reason thereof and modify any or all the terms & conditions as deemed proper in the interest of Government Signature of the Tenderer.
