4 Terms & condition of the Tender for supply of Chain link mesh For the Year: Last Date for submission of Tender: Up to Noon of Opening of Tender (Technical) : 3.30 PM of The Deputy Director, Nandankanan Zoological Park, PO: Baranga invites sealed tender in prescribed form from interested farms / suppliers / manufacturers for supply of Chain link mesh of the specifications as mentioned below: 4 x 4 x 8g. 3 x 3 x 8g 2 x 2 x 8g 2 x 2 x 10g 1 x 1 x 12g ½ x ½ x 12g ¾ x ¾ x 12g Sealed cover containing the tender paper and super scribed SUPPLY OF CHAIN LINK MESH FOR NANDNAKANAN ZOOLOGICAL PARK should be addressed to the Deputy Director, in the above mentioned address. Tender Papers reaching the office of the undersigned beyond the scheduled time & those without sealed cover shall not be accepted. The sealed covers containing the tender papers received within the scheduled time shall be opened on 3.30 PM of in the conference hall of Nandankanan. Either the tenderer or his authorized representative should remain present at the time of opening of the tender. The following documents shall be enclosed with the tender paper failing which the tender shall not be entertained. 1. i) E.M.D.for Rs. 25,000/- ( Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) only in shape of Demand Draft/ Bank Draft drawn in favour of Deputy Director, Nandankanan Zoological Park on any Nationalized bank payable at Bhubaneswar. Tenderers having certificate of registration of the Small Scale Industries, Govt. of Odisha may be exempted from EMD, if the item for which tender has been published is found place in the list of items registered in the Certificate. The EMD will be refunded to the unsuccessful tenderer upon completion of the tender process. The E.M.D. will be forfeited to the Govt. in the following cases: a) In case, the successful tenderer do not come forward to sign the agreement when called by the Deputy Director within the specified time. b) In case the lowest tenderer withdraws from the tender after opening of the tender paper.

Previous experience, if any 2. The tenderer should submit sample of the materials of size 1 1 size along with the tender paper duly sealed for testing in Government Laboratory before opening of financial bid. Financial bid shall be opened in case of those who quality the technical bid which also include the test result of sample items. 3. The chain link mesh to be supplied should confirm to IS-2721 standard. Tender papers without signature of the tenderer or incomplete in any manner shall not be entertained & shall be liable for rejection. The following terms and conditions shall be applicable for the tender : 4. Form of Tender: The tender form will consist of two parts, (i) Form-A (Technical) and (ii) Form-B (Financial). The Tenderer has to give details of clause-1 i.e. (I to viii) in Form-A (Technical). In Form-B the tenderer has to quote financial amount only. Form A & Form B are to be kept in two different sealed covers over which it has to be written clearly Form-A / Form-B respectively. Both covers should be kept in a cover super scribing SUPPLY OF CHAINLINK MESH TO NANDANKANAN ZOOLOGICAL PARK DURING and the name of the tenderer. Otherwise tender will not be considered. The tender should be sealed and complete in all respect. 5. The price quoted should be per sq.mtr and inclusive of all charges, taxes and delivery at Nandankanan. 6. Payment shall be made after testing the quality in the laboratory of EPM as per the aforesaid specification & on completion of delivery. 7. As per the guide line of the Income Tax Department TCS as per the applicable rate shall be deducted from the supplier at the time of payment.

6 8. The successful tenderer shall be required to enter an agreement with the undersigned for timely supply of the materials upon placement of order. The successful tenderer shall also be required to furnish a deposit of Rs.50,000 (Fifty Thousand) only to the undersigned named Performance Security in shape of Bank Draft / Bankers Cheque of a Nationalized Bank payable at Bhubaneswar to be pledged with the under signed for faithful discharge of the agreement. 9. Nandankanan authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tender papers without assigning any reason thereof & to alter any of the terms and conditions as deemed proper in the interest of the Govt. 10.
