TENDER DOCUMENT FOR SELECTION OF CONTRACTOR FOR DEMESTIC COURIER SERVICES FOR DELIVERY OF BANK S MAIL COVERS/PERCELS TO DESIRED DESTINATION SPREAD OVER ALL OVER EASTERN INDIA STATES Bank of India, Kolkata Zonal Office invites sealed quotations under two bid system Technical & Commercial Bids separately on or before upto 4 p.m from interested courier/firms/companies for lifting of mail packets from the Zonal Stationery Cell, Bowbazar, Kolkata and its delivery to more than 450 branches in West Bengal & North Eastern States. The firms with established means and fulfill eligibility criteria are requested to submit their tenders which should reach us before p.m upto 4.00 p.m. The tender can be dropped in the boxes at the following address before the schedule time. Bank of India, Kolkata Zonal Office, Estate & Services Dept, 5 B T M Sarani, Kolkata Tenders duly signed by the Authorized Signatory with name & designation be submitted in Two separate sealed envelopes marked Technical Bid & Commercial Bid respectively. i) Technical Bid: It should contain various documents are as per Annexure I and superscripted Technical Bid.It should not contain any rates. It will be opened first and the offer not matching with our requirements/specifications may be rejected and no representation for rejections for whatsoever reasons will be entertained. ii) Commercial Bid-Envelope superscripted with words Commercial Bid should specify the rates separately for different pickup point s vis-à-vis delivery destinations as Annexure II. The Technical Bid will be opened at 4.45 p.m on at Bank of India, Zonal Office, 5 BTM Sarani, Kolkata Date Dy Zonal Manager Kolkata Zone

2 SERVICES TO BE RENDERED & TERMS & CONDITIONS 1. Pick up of mail covers/parcels should be done on daily basis as required from Zonal Stationery Cell, Bowbazar and delivered 24 hours in the area within Kolkata clearing branches, 48 to 72 hours in the area of South Bengal upto Murshidabad Dist, 5 days in the area of North Bengal and 10 days in North East States and Hill areas. 2. Your rates will be valid for minimum one year from approval date, with quotation signed by authorized signatory along with stamp /seal of company/firm as per Annexure-II. 3. It may be noted that upon acceptance offer you will be bound to carry out order within period specified and no request for increase in rates or excuse for non execution of order will be entertained. 4. The decision of bank in regard to tender/ bid will be final and need not necessarily be lowest quot. 5. Penalty for delayed delivery will be levied, which please note. 6. Bank reserves its right to reject their /all tenders without assigning any reasons for cancellation. 7.Security deposit of Rs 5,000/-(five thousand) in the form of pay order/dd favouring Bank of India should be submitted along with Technical Bid which will be kept for the period of empanelment. 8. Preference will be given who are engaged with other Nationalized Banks or Government / Semi Government Offices / Public Undertaking. 9. The applicant must have full fledge establishment in Kolkata and net work s/branches at major cities for real time delivery of articles. 10. Combine lowest rate of Serial 1 and 2 of commercial bill for each area will be applicable for acceptance for empanelment.

Appreciation letters from the present clients regarding service. The above details are as per your specifications.
