1 Jodhpur Zone Jashoda Tower, Aakhaliya Circle, Jodhpur (Rajasthan) Tel: , स दर भ स ख य : ZO/GOD/SKG/701 ददन क : WEBSITE ADVERTISEMENT REQUIREMENT OF THREE GOLD PURITY CUM ANALYZER MACHINES WITH WEIGHING MACHINES AND COMPATIBLE PC/LAPTOP FOR BRANCHES UNDER JODHPUR ZONE Offers in two separate sealed covers containing technical details and financial details respectively are invited from interested parties (hereafter called as BIDDER), who are ready to supply Gold Purity cum Analyzer Machines with weighing machine and compatible PC/Laptop for the use of our various branches located in Jodhpur Zone. Interested Bidders, who are dealing in Supply of Gold Testing Machines with facility to test purity and meeting the following Eligibility Criteria may participate in the bidding process. A. Eligibility Criteria: Sl. Eligibility No. 1. The bidder should have minimum three year experience in the area of supply and maintenance of Gold Purity cum Analyzer Machines with weighing machine 2. Bidder must have record of supplying the machine in at least one Public Sector Banks apart from the supply to others. 3. Bidder must have their service centre in Jodhpur operating at least for last 2 years. 4. The bidder should be able to provide qualified service engineers for attending the problems, if any, during the warranty / AMC period ONSITE. 5. Bidder should have to arrange for onsite training at the place of installation of machine. 6. The bidder should be able to supply and install the machine within 15 days of the order received from the Bank. 7. AMC support for the machine should be available for another 5 years upon expiry of the free warranty period. Document require, if any Proof of the same such as copy of purchase order, AMC contract etc. Copy of purchase order / delivery challan / invoice raised etc. List of service centres including their date of establishment. However, for service centre operational in Jodhpur, document confirming the existence of office must be attached to ascertain the date from which it is operating. List of qualified engineers to be submitted with their Emp.ID/proof of employment. B. Specification: a. Capacity to analyse and give the report for weight, exact purity, details of other metals present in the ornament / item used for testing within 30 seconds. b. Purity of ornament / article should be displayed on the screen also to enable the customer to view the same. c. There should not be any loss of article during the testing process nor any damage to the ornaments / article being tested. d. Machine should have all the certifications as per requirement of the prevailing Govt. guidelines which is not limited to radiation safety. e. Machine should be radiation free and there should not be any side effect to the user including a pregnant women.

2 f. Should be able to generate the report on PC operating with common Windows OS. g. User should be able to take the print out of the report generated without any special skill set. h. User friendly and easy to operate. i. Should be able to test the ornament / coin / article of standard weight and size. C. General rules for the Bidder: 1. All pages of website advertisement should be downloaded from our Bank s website and to be submitted duly signed at all the pages. Offer in the format other than Bank s prescribed, will be liable for rejection. 2. Application must contain NON-REFUNDABLE an application money of Rs 1,000/- in the form of Demand Draft / Bank s Cheque in favour of Bank of India, payable at Jodhpur. (Note: Offer without application money will not be considered in any case). 3. All the papers in support of eligibility criteria, specification is part of Technical Qualification and the same should be submitted in separate cover super scribing the word TECHNICAL BID format given as per Annexure A. 4. EMD of Rs 20,000/- by way of Demand Draft / pay order in favour BANK OF INDIA payable at JODHPUR must be accompanied with Technical Bid. EMD of successful bidder will be kept with the Bank and will be released only upon expiry of the 12 months warranty period without any interest. However the unsuccessful bidder will get back their EMD amount upon completion of the bidding process (approximately within 15 days of opening of the BID) and Bank will not pay any interest on the EMD amount. 5. Separate cover super scribing FINANCIAL BID should only contain the price bid which must be submitted in format given as per Annexure B of this Tender Document. Price must be quoted inclusive of all taxes, transportation etc. and in INR currency. 6. Both the envelops Technical Bid and Financial Bid should be kept in one envelop super scribing the word OFFER FOR GOLD PURITY CUM ANALYZER MACHINE WITH WEIGHING MACHINE AND COMPATIBLE PC/LAPTOP. Further, in case the bank does not function on the aforesaid date due to unforeseen circumstances or holiday then the bid will be accepted up to 3.00 p.m. on the next working day and bids will be opened at 4.00 p.m. at the same venue on the same day. 5 All the technically qualified bidders will have to demonstrate the function of their product at our Zonal Office latest by at their own cost with a prior appointment. Bank will not pay any charges or expenses involved in any case. 6 Financial Bids will be opened on at 3.30 pm at the same address mentioned above. 7 Bidder who will not be able to demonstrate the functions of their machine, will be disqualified from the financial bid process and they will not be allowed for participating in the Financial Bidding process.

3 8 Bank reserves all right to cancel / terminate the tender process in between without sighting any reason. 9 Only sealed envelopes will be accepted. 10 The selection of machine will be decided by the committee of the Bank in which following aspects will be taken into consideration as per their weightage. FINANCIAL BID without quoting rate for AMC of another 5 years period will be liable for rejection. 12. The price must include Taxes, Cess, Octroi, Transportation, Cost of software or upgrading of existing OS system, if any. 13. Payment will be released only upon successful delivery, installation, training to the official assigned to operate the machine onsite. A certificate in this regard must be produced for claiming the payment of the machine % of the cost will be released upon compliance of point no.-13 above and Bank will retain the 10% amount till the free warranty period which should not be less than 12 months of its installation. Bank will not pay any interest on retention money. 15. Order Cancellation: The Bank reserves its right to cancel the entire / unexecuted part of Purchase Order at any time by assigning appropriate reasons in the event of one or more of the following conditions treating it as default / non-performance of the contracta. Fails to accept the purchase order within the specified time. b. Delay in delivery beyond the specified period. c. Partial Delivery. d. Serious discrepancies noted in the items delivered. e. Breaches in the terms and conditions of the Order. In addition to the cancellation of purchase order, the Bank shall forfeit the Security Deposit/Retention Money given by the bidder towards nonperformance/noncompliance of the terms and conditions of the contract, to appropriate the damages to the extent of number of machines not delivered, defective machines. 5 Annexure-A TECHNICAL BID - FORMAT The Zonal Manager, Bank of India, Jodhpur Zone. Dear Sir, Ref: Tender Notice dated of Jodhpur Zone Having examined the abovementioned Tender document including all Annexures, we, the undersigned, offer to supply, and carry out operationalization of Gold Purity cum Analyzer Machines with weighing machine and maintain them in conformity with the said TENDER NOTICE in accordance with the schedule of prices indicated in the Financial Offer and made part of this offer. If our offer is accepted, we undertake to complete delivery, operationalizing and handing over the Gold Testing machines to the Bank within 15 days for all locations as specified in the offer document. We enclose a Demand Draft /Bank Guarantee in lieu of EMD for Rs 20,000/- in favour of Bank of India payable at Jodhpur as EMD. We agree to abide by this offer till 3 months from the date for opening of the Tender and for such further period as may be requested for by the bank and agreed to in writing by us.
