2 GENERAL RULES AND INSTRTUCTIONS TO THE INTENDING APPLICANTS: 1. The empanelment of architects, contractors, vendors and suppliers are proposed for the civil, electrical, air-conditioning, interior works and other allied works of routine nature in the Branches and offices of the Bank coming under the Zonal Office. Generally, the routine work of the Bank are awarded / procurements are made on calling competitive tenders / quotations from the empanelled contractors / suppliers. However, the Bank has the right to award the work / procure supply from any of the empanelled agencies, depending on the exigencies of the work and also opt for open tendering process for any particular work, depending on the nature & magnitude of the work. 2. This document consists of the following : a) Notice inviting applications for empanelment of architects, contractors, vendors and suppliers. b) General rules and instructions to the intending applications c) Scope and eligibility criteria for each category d) Application format for empanelment e) List of documents enclosed with the application form 3. The complete document as detailed above, complete in all respects, should be submitted by the intending applicants within the stipulated date and as per the instructions given in the Notice inviting applications. The details of the applicants and their experience shall be furnished in the prescribed Application Format only. Wherever required and if the space provided is not sufficient, particulars can be furnished in Annexures but such details shall be clearly mentioned in the respective columns of the Application Format. Applicant shall enclose latest copies of brochures and technical documentation giving additional information about the applicant. Each page of the document shall be duly signed by the Applicant or their authorized representative. 4. The Consultants / Contractors / suppliers, who intend to apply for more than one category, have to apply for each category using separate application forms. 5. The applicants shall also authorize the Bank to approach his Employers, Clients, Corporations, Organisation, etc. to verify contractor s general reputation / competence. 6. No costs incurred by the applicant in applying, in providing necessary clarifications or attending discussions, conferences or site visits, will be reimbursed by the Bank. Site visits, if necessary to be arranged by the applicant. 7. Documentary proof with respect to the details furnished in the application form regarding eligibility criteria shall be furnished along with the application form. In this regard, copies of the work order and completion certificate and / or such documents shall be submitted. Incomplete applications or applications without proper proofs for establishing their credentials will be liable to be rejected and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard. The Bank reserves the right to

3 empanel the applicants solely on the basis of the documents submitted by sthe applicants. The preliminary short-listing of the applicants shall be done strictly on the basis of the furnished details. As such applicants are advised to submit relevant documents wherever necessary. 8. If the application is made by a partnership firm, a certified copy of the partnership deed, current address of the firm and the full names and current addresses of all the partners of the firm shall also accompany the application. 9. The application shall be signed by the person/s on behalf of the organization having necessary Authority / Power of Attorney to do so. Each page of the application shall be signed and copy of Power of Attorney / Memorandum of association (wherever applicable) shall be furnished along with application. 10. If the application is made be a limited company, it shall be signed by a duly authorized person holding the power of attorney for signing the application, in which case certified copies of the power of attorney and the certification of incorporation. Memorandum of Articles of Association shall accompany the application. 11. If the space in proforma is insufficient for furnishing full details, such information may be supplemented on separate sheet stating therein the part of proforma and serial number. Separate sheets may be used for each part of application. While filling up the application with regard to list of important projects completed or on hand the applicant shall only include major works handled by the firm. 12. The applicant should ensure that the application is hand delivered at the given address within prescribed date and time as mentioned in the advertisement. The application shall not be accepted by post / courier. 13. Application containing false and / or incomplete information is liable for rejection. 14. The evaluation will be based on the experience of the architects / contractors / vendors / suppliers and their financial capabilities and may also include inspecting the works furnished by them for which, necessary co-ordination shall be made by them. Based on the details furnished and inspection of works, eligibility criteria, the architects / contractors / vendors / suppliers will be empanelled. Decision of the Bank regarding selection / rejection for empanelment will be final and binding and no further correspondence will be entertained. The empanelled contractors will only be informed by post. 15. If, information and details furnished by applicants are found to be false at any time in future or any information withheld, which comes to the notice of the Bank at a later date, the empanelment of such applicant will be cancelled immediately. 16. Applications received after the due date and times shall be rejected. 17. The architects / contractors / vendors / suppliers having their office in the geographical jurisdiction of the Zonal Office shall be preferred. The empanelment shall be valid for a maximum period of three years. 18. Bank of Maharashtra reserves its right to reject any / or all the applications without assigning any reasons whatsoever.

4 SCOPE AND ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR ARCHITECTS A. SCOPE OF WORK The scope of work for the Architects include designing interior layout plans for the branch / offices of the Bank, providing the specifications of the works & materials, assisting the Bank in finalizing the contractor through tendering and supervision of the interior works. Some time the panel architects services will also be availed for planning, designing and execution of extension of Banks own building involving the approval for the same from the local Authorities. The services of architects will also be used for planning, estimation and execution, maintenance of Civil works of Bank s own buildings, measurement of carpet area of the Branch / Office premises. The Bank has right to avail the services of any architect from the panel for proposed works in branches / offices. The Bank has also right to avail services of architect from outside the panel depending on the circumstances. B. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA a) Architects 1. Graduate / Post Graduate diploma in Architecture either from India or broad and / or have done considerable extent of work as Architect for a period of more than 3 years as on June The Architects with specialization in Interior designing which includes Civil works, Interior works, Electrical Works, UPS wiring & Data Cabling for computer network and Air conditioning will be preferred. 2. The Architect mush have registered with the council of Architecture or any other professional institute. The architect must be members of the Indian Institute of Architects / Institution of Engineers for consultancy or any other professional institutes and have experience in designing and supervising interior works for the Banks/ Financial institution with Air Conditioning works, electrical works, UPS Wiring and data-cabling layouts of at least : Five projects each costing Rs lacs. OR Three projects each costing Rs lacs. OR Two projects each costing Rs lacs during the last three years. 3. The average annual turnover (from professional fee) for the last 3 financial years shall not be less than Rs.2.00 lacs 4. Should be on assessee of Income Tax Note : 1. The firms / companies meeting the eligibility criteria and having the qualified personnel as detailed above can also apply. 2. The architects having well-established office in the respective working area / state with adequate engineering staff / manpower shall be preferred. The architects must have electrical consultants associated with them for proper designing of electrical works of the branches / offices of the Bank. 3. The professional fees of the architects shall be as per the approved rates of the Bank.

5 SCOPE AND ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR INTERIOR FURNISHING CONTRACTORS A. SCOPE OF WORK The scope of work of Contractors for Interior Furnishing works mainly involves erection of partitions, counters, paneling, false ceiling, cavity flooring, furniture and fabricated workstations, masonry, plastering, RCC concrete works, painting, flooring, plumbing & sanitary, water proofing, demolition works, structural steel fabrication, woodwork, internal and external electrification, associated cabling, earthing, wiring for air-conditioners, telephone wiring, music system installation, UPS wiring, breakdown repairs and other allied works for furnishing of branches and offices of the Bank. B. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA 1. The contractor who intends to apply should have the experience of successfully completing following quantum of similar works such as original works, alterations and renovations of branches / offices of a Bank / Government departments / public sector undertaking / central autonomous bodies / state autonomous bodies / financial institutions or other reputed firms during last 3 years prior to Five projects each costing Rs.6.00 lacs OR Three projects each costing Rs.7.50 lacs OR Two projects each costing Rs lacs 2. The contractor who intends to apply should a) be an assessee of Income Tax and should have registered with Sale Tax department, submit income tax returns and sales tax registration certificate with valid registration number. b) have will established work shop for preparing the furnishing / furniture items c) have the average annual financial turnover of atleast Rs lacs during last 3 years ending with d) submit solvency certificate from Nationalised / scheduled Bank issued within one year for an amount of Rs lacs. e) have Service tax / TIN No. 3. The contractors who intends to apply should have valid A-class electrical contractors license or electrician with valid license issued by the government authority to carry out the work.

6 SCOPE AND ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR CONTRACTOR / VENDOR FOR UPS WIRING & DATA CABLING OF THE COMPUTER NETWORKS A. SCOPE OF WORK The scope of work of Contractors / Vendors for UPS wiring & Data Cabling of the Computer Network mainly involves provision of computer outlets which shall include UPS wiring & Data cabling of computer networks, supply of related accessories / gadgets, breakdown repairs and other allied works for total computerization of branches and offices of the Bank. B. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA 1. The contractor who intends to apply should have the experience of successfully completing following quantum of similar works such as original works, alterations and renovations for branches / offices of a Bank / Government departments / public sector undertaking / central autonomous bodies / state autonomous bodies / financial institutions or other reputed firms during last 3 years prior to Five projects each costing Rs.80, OR Three projects each costing Rs.1,00, OR Two projects each costing Rs.1.60 lacs 2. The contractor who intends to apply should a) be an assessee of Income Tax and should have registered with Sale Tax department, submit income tax returns and sales tax registration certificate with valid registration number. b) Have the average annual financial turnover of atleast Rs.4.80 lacs in the respective class during last 3 years ending with 31/03/2012. c) Submit solvency certificate from Nationalised / scheduled Bank issued within one year for an amount equal to Rs.2.00 lacs. d) Should have Service tax / TIN No. 3. The contractors who intend to apply should have valid A-class electrical contractors license or electrician with valid license issued by the government authority to carry out the work.

7 SCOPE AND ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR CONTRACTOR / VENDORS FOR AIR CONDITIONING WORKS A. SCOPE OF WORK The scope of work of Contractors / Vendors for Air Conditioning Works mainly involves supply and installation of window ACs, Split ACs, Multisplit ACs, Ductable splits ACs, and necessary cabling, conduiting & ducting. The works shall also include executing AMCs for the respective works for a period of 4 years. The air-conditioners unit suppliers are the manufacturers / suppliers of window units, split units ductable split, package airconditioners and should have good dealers and service network in the region. They should have service centers at least wherever our Zonal Office is located. B. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA 1. The contractor who intends to apply should have the experience of successfully completing following quantum of similar works such as original works, alterations and renovations for branches / offices of a Bank / Government departments / public sector undertaking / central autonomous bodies / state autonomous bodies / financial institutions or other reputed firms during last 3 years prior to Five projects each costing Rs.2.40 lacs OR Three projects each costing Rs.3.00 lacs OR Two projects each costing Rs.4.80 lacs 2. The contractor who intends to apply should a) be an assessee of Income Tax and should have registered with Sale Tax department, submit income tax returns and sales tax registration certificate with valid registration number. b) Have the average annual financial turnover of atleast Rs lacs in the respective class during last 3 years ending with c) Submit solvency certificate from Nationalised / scheduled Bank issued within one year for an amount equal to Rs.6.00 lacs. d) Should have Service tax / TIN No.

8 SCOPE AND ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR EMPANELMENT OF SUPPLIERS CHAIR AND FURNITURE SCOPE It is proposed to empanel the suppliers of Chairs and furniture for the anticipated procurements for the branches / offices of the Bank. In case of manufacturers being empanelled, the enquiries for the procurement will be made only with the Manufactures. However, they can submit the quotation through their authorized dealers. The manufacturers / suppliers having service centers atleast where our Zonal Office is located shall be preferred. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA 1, The suppliers should be original manufacturers / suppliers of the above items having wide dealer and service network in the geographical jurisdiction of Zonal Office. They should have own manufacturing units / plants. They should be established in this field for minimum 5 years. 2. The vendor / suppliers should submit sales tax registration certificate showing registrations with sales tax and commercial tax department and valid registration number. 3. The vendors / suppliers shall have the average annual financial turnover of Rs.3.0 lacs for the last three years prior to The supplier must have executed the following orders a) Five projects each costing Rs.40, b) OR Three projects each costing Rs.50, c) OR Two projects each costing Rs.80, Solvency certificate from Nationalised / scheduled Bank issued within one year for an amount of Rs.1.00 lac should be submitted. Note : For all the category of empanelment, preference shall be given to the applicants as per the following details 1. The architects / contractors / vendors / supplier having well-established office in the respective working area / state with adequate engineering staff / manpower shall be preferred. 2. The contractors who have undertaken the work for Government Offices / Financial Institutions especially Banks, will be given preference. 3. All contractors must be Income Tax assessee.
