2 Pre-Qualification for Empanelment of Civil & Interior furnishing Contractors in Kerala. Dear Sir / Madam, Sub: Prequalification for Empanelment of Civil-interior Contractors IDBI Bank Ltd. proposes to carryout Civil Works at its bank branches and offices, Renovation / Relocation/Painting of its Quarters/ Branches / Offices etc. in the state of Kerala. The center for the Zone is located in Chennai (address as given below) The Deputy General Manager, IDBI BANK LTD., No. 115, Anna Salai, Post Bag No.805, Saidapet, Chennai-15. Contact Nos /03/02 The scope of work would involve External Building painting works Interior Civil Works, Painting works, Renovation/refurbishment works in flats etc. Bank would empanel contractors for the kerala. Contractors satisfying the pre-qualification criteria will be empanelled only for Kerala State. Contractors are requested to furnish details regarding their Company, Organization Chart, Date of Incorporation, Experience etc as indicated in the application format given in the web site. The application forms can be down loaded from the IDBI website from Notices Tenders. The application formats duly completed in all respects giving the aforesaid information is required to be addressed to the officer as indicated in the table below and should be enclosed in a sealed cover super scribing in the top left hand corner of the cover as "Application for Prequalification for Empanelment of Civil works in Kerala" and dropped in tender box kept for the purpose on or before March 16, 2016 by 10:00 a.m at the Zonal Office as indicated in Page 2. 2

4 Pre-Qualification for Empanelment of Civil & Interior furnishing contractors in Kerala. Terms and conditions of empanelment Bank would empanel contractors for the state of Kerala. The works are proposed in Kerala are in Branches/offices located in Rural / Semi- urban / urban / Metro centers and quarters located in cochin. Only those contractors who are capable of carrying out works in any part of the states need to submit their application in the Zonal office. Contractors satisfying the pre-qualification criteria will be empanelled only for state of kerala. A. Qualification / Eligibility Criteria Category -(A)- External Re-Painting works in Office Premises( Panampilly Nagar, Cochin) 1. The contractor should have minimum annual turnover of Rs lakhs during the three previous financial years ending March 31, 2015 (Copies of audited statements & Income Tax Returns to be enclosed as proof for the same). 2. The contractor should have executed successfully similar works during last 5 years ending March 31, 2015 which should be either of the following:- (a) Three similar completed works (at least one of them should be in Central Govt./Central Autonomous Bodies/ Central Public Sector Undertaking/ Financial Institutions/Banks) each costing not less than Rs.6 lakhs (b) Two similar completed works costing not less than Rs.7.5 lakhs or (c) One similar completed work costing not less than Rs. 12 lakhs or Similar works means - External painting work in office premises including painting of all external surfaces. The works includes supply of manpower, materials, scaffolding etc. A detailed technical bid will be issued before the submission of price bids All other terms and conditions are the same as listed in the annexure for the above work. 4

5 Category - (B)- Renovation/Refurbishment works in Bank s Flats/Quarters in Cochin The contractor should have minimum annual turnover of Rs lakhs during the three previous financial years ending March 31, 2015 (Copies of audited statements & Income Tax Returns to be enclosed as proof for the same). 1) The contractor should have executed successfully similar works during last 5 years ending March 31, 2015 which should be either of the following:- (a) Three similar completed works (at least one of them should be in Central Govt./Central Autonomous Bodies/ Central Public Sector Undertaking/ Financial Institutions/Banks) each costing not less than Rs.2.5 lakhs or (b) Two similar completed works costing not less than Rs.3 lakhs Or (c) One similar completed work costing not less than Rs.5 lakhs Similar works means- Civil works, plumbing, carpentry and minor electrical repair works in the residential premises/quarters etc. A detailed technical bid will be issued before the submission of price bids All other terms and conditions are the same as listed in the annexure for the above work

Category - (C)- Interior Furnishing works in Branches ( all Over Kerala) The contractor should have minimum annual turnover of Rs lakhs during the three previous financial years ending March 31, 2015 (Copies of audited statements & Income Tax Returns to be enclosed as proof for the same). 1) The contractor should have executed successfully similar works during last 5 years ending March 31, 2015 which should be either of the following:- ther of the following:- (b) Three similar completed works (at least one of them should be in Central Govt./Central Autonomous Bodies/ Central Public Sector Undertaking/ Financial Institutions/Banks) each Costing not less than Rs.6 lakhs or (b) Two similar completed works costing not less than Rs. 7.5 lakhs or (c) One similar completed work costing not less than Rs.12 lakhs Similar work means Civil & Interior furnishing works in works in Banks, Interior Fit outs, Soft furnishing works, etc." All other terms and conditions are the same as listed in the annexure for the above work The copy of all the registration certificates must be attached for our verification. 6

7 A. Scope of Work: Pre-Qualification for Empanelment of Civil & Interior furnishing and contractors in Kerala. 1. External - Repainting works - External painting work in office premises includes painting of all external surfaces. The works includes supply of manpower, materials, scaffolding etc. A detailed technical bid will be issued before the submission of price bids 2. Flat Renovation works Renovation of flats including civil, carpentry, plumbing, minor electrical and other associated works. A detailed technical bid will be issued before the submission of price bids 3. Interior Furnishing works in branches - Construction of Strong room with RCC walls and floor as per RBI guidelines, Pantry, Toilets with related plumbing works, fixtures and finishing works, Internal Partition walls with brick work, flooring, cladding works, joinery works etc. as per Bank s specification. Erection of Wooden / Glazed partitions for cabins & separations, False ceiling works {both Gypsum Board and Mineral Fibre Boards (Modular Grid type)}, Cash Counter, Painting with POP finish etc., procure and supply chairs, sofa from approved vendors, providing soft furnishings such as frost films to glazing, Venetian blinds, curtains, carpets etc. A detailed technical bid will be issued before the submission of price bids. B) The contractor should have a licensed manpower to carry out electrical services.. C) All contractors applying for any of the works listed above should have a valid registration in KVAT, Sales Tax, service tax, VAT any & all the valid registrations required under statutory requirements to works in the state of kerala etc. D) The contractor must have an branch/office in the state of Kerala E) Time of completion A) 45 days from the date of issue of the work order for external Painting works B) 15 days from the date of issue of the work order for Flat Renovation works. C) 30 days from the date of issue of work order for projects not involving Internal Civil works ( ie., Strong Room, Toilets, Record room, Electrical room, ATM etc.) and 45 days for projects including aforesaid civil works. 7

8 F. Method of award of work Tender would be invited only from the pre-qualified contractors. A Pre-qualified contractor who comes out successful in Tendering process will be awarded the work. Award of additional works would be considered after verifying the successful completion of the works already awarded. G. Submission of Prequalification Documents The application forms can be down loaded from the IDBI website from Tenders- Notices. The application formats duly completed in all respects with necessary attachments giving the aforesaid information is required to be addressed to the officer as indicated in the table in Page 2 and should be enclosed in a sealed cover super scribing in the top left hand corner of the cover as "Application for Prequalification for Empanelment of Civil for Kerala" and Subscribing the category for which contractor is applying for... The tender should be dropped in the tender box kept at the Zonal Office for the purpose on or before 16/03/2016 by 10:00 am. H. Instructions to bidders 1. Each page of the application shall be signed by a person having necessary authority to do so. 2. If the space in the Performa is insufficient for furnishing full details, such information may be given in separate sheets. 3. Applicants are required to furnish information against each item of the application. In case certain item is not applicable, please write NA. Application containing incorrect and or inadequate information is liable to be rejected. 4. For any further clarification, the applicant may contact in the numbers given in the table in Page 2 during office hours. Bank reserves the right to reject any or all the applications without assigning any reasons and to restrict the list to any number deemed suitable by it, if too many applications are received satisfying the basic pre qualification criteria. 8
