Tender Notice Published In Vijaya Karnataka Sir, In continuation to the NIT published in Vijaya Karnataka, please find enclosed herewith the following tender documents for the sale of seed as non seed. 1. Proforma letter of quotations Annexure B Sealed quotations duly prescribed Quotations /Tenders for purchase of leftover seeds and screen rejected seeds of different crops/varieties as non seed under NSC, Bellary, Davanagere, Hassan, Dharwar, Hebbal, Raichur & Haveri should reach this office on or before 22 nd Nov upto 3.00 P.M. and the same will be opened at 3.30 P.M. on the same day. Tenders should be accompanied with EMD of Rs /- (Rupees Twenty Thousand only) through Demand Draft drawn in favour of National Seeds Corporation Limited, Bangalore. Interested parties may obtain tender forms from the above Area offices and Regional office, Bangalore on payment of Rs. 100 ( one hundred ) being the cost of Tender form which is nonrefundable up to 3.00 PM on Tender forms can also be downloaded from NSC website and cost of such forms can be paid by DD drawn in favour of NATIONAL SEEDS CORPORATION LTD payable at BANGALORE while submitting the filled in Tender forms. Duly filled in tenders will be received up to 3.00P.M. on and will be opened on the same day at 3.30P.M. at Regional Office, Bangalore. No.4(13)/Admn/NSC-BNG/ Dated Regional Manager.

3 ANNEXURE A TERMS AND CONDITIONS 1. EMD of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty thousand only) should be accompanied with the tender in the form of DD drawn on SBI or any Nationalized Bank in the favour of National Seeds Corporation, payable at Bangalore with out EMD Tender will be rejected. 2. The EMD of unsuccessful tenders will be returned by Cheque within 15 days from the date of opening of the tenders. 3. The EMD of the 1 st, 2 nd and 3 rd highest rate quoted parties will be retained till completion of the deal. 4. The EMD of the successful tenderer will not be adjusted against the cost of the material and will be returned without any interest by way of Cheque after satisfactory lifting of the stocks. 5. In case the successful tenderes fail to lift the stocks before the time as stipulated, the corporation reserves the right to forfeit the EMD. 6. The stocks are treated with chemicals except Paddy Seed 7. The NSC staff members on their relatives are not allowed to participate in the tender directly or indirectly. 8. The total stocks can be inspected between hrs and hrs on all working days at the places where the stocks proposed for sale are available. 9. Quantities mentioned in the tender notice are approximate. 10.The successful tenderes will have to deposit 25% cost of the stock immediately after the acceptance of the tender. The stock shall have to be lifted from the stocking po9int within seven days after making the balance cost of the material at the cost of the tenderer. 11.In case of non-lifting or partial lifting of the stocks, NSC apart from enforcing the other conditions will offer the stocks to any other party at the cost and risks of the successful tenderer who had defaulted. Any loss on this account will be recovered from the successful tenderer. 12. The stock will be released to the successful tenderer on as is where is basis by removing tags and labels and defacing the container. 13. The tenders must check thoroughly the quality of the stocks before submission of the tender. Request for variation of rates will not be entertained under nay circumstances after opening the tender.

4 14. Sales tax or any other tax if any leviable shall be borne by the tenderer only and other taxes etc is livable where ever applicable. 15. In case the tender is accepted, the purchaser will have to execute an agreement on non-judicial stamp paper in the prescribed proforma stating that the stocks will not be used for seed purpose. 16. In the event of any differences or dispute arising out of or in Connection with agreement the same will be referred to the sole Arbitrator to be nominated by the Chairman and Managing Director of NSC on application being made available to him by either of the parties and agree that there shall be no objection to such person being in any manner connected with NSC The arbitrator so appointed shall have the power to determine his own procedure and should make an award which shall be final and binding on the parties. 17. The tenders should be submitted only after agreeing all the above terms and conditions and conditional tenders will be rejected. 18. Further terms and conditions if any will be informed at the time of opening the tenders 19. The Regional Manager reserves the right to accept or reject any or all the tenders without assigning any reason what so ever. Regional Manager.
