The cover should be prominently superscribed with the words TENDER FOR DISPOSAL OF OLD/CONDEMNED VEHICLE OF C-DAC". The bidders or their representative may be present, if they so desire, at the time of opening of quotation. The tender document can be downloaded from the website of as well as from Page 1 of 5

2 TERMS AND CONDITONS: The sale will be governed by the following terms and conditions: 1. The Vehicle is to be disposed off on 'as is where is basis'. The TATA Mini Bus be inspected by the Tenderers at the premises of Centre for Development of Advanced Computing, No. 68, Electronics City, Bangalore on all working days (Monday to Friday) between a.m. to 4.00 p.m. No guarantee for its worthiness or quality will be given by C-DAC. 2. The interested Tenderers should fill in their bid amount in the relevant column in the prescribed form appended at Annexure-II. The tender form duly completed & sealed along with the signed Terms & conditions and Bank Draft drawn on any Nationalized Bank, for Rs 10,000/- towards Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) payable in favour of the C-DAC, Bangalore well before the last date of submission of the tender as specified above. The tenders so received will be opened on the same day at 03:00 p.m. at the address given above in the presence of the interested tenderers/their authorized representatives who wish to be present. 3. The complete tender document is also available on C-DAC website as well as at for the purpose of downloading. Those tenderers who download the tender document from C-DAC website shall be required to deposit a payment of Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred Only) Non Refundable, separately in the form of Demand Draft in favour of C-DAC, Bangalore along with their complete tender form. Such downloaded form shall be considered valid for participating in tendering process and if received without requisite fee shall be summarily rejected. 4. Any offer received without the EMD and/or without prescribed tender form along with terms and conditions of the tender duly signed by will not be considered. 5. The Sealed envelope containing the bid/offer along with EMD should be superscribed as "Tender for Sale of Old/Condemned vehicle of C-DAC" and be submitted to The Manager (Admin), Centre for Development of Advanced Computing, No. 68, Electronics City, Bangalore , for the said purpose. 6. The Highest offer of the vehicle will be treated as successful tender, provided the same is accepted by the Competent Authority of C-DAC. 7. The successful tenderer will be required to make full payment before collecting the vehicle within Seven Days from the date of acceptance of the offer. The Earnest Money will be forfeited in case the successful tenderer fails to make the balance payment of vehicle within the stipulated time. Page 2 of 5

3 8. The Earnest Money deposit will be returned to the unsuccessful tenderers after the acceptance of the offer to the successful tenderer(s). However, No interest shall be payable on EMD. 9. The successful bidder shall be required to submit documentary evidence in support of residential status viz, Voter Identity Card/Adhaar Card/Passport in case of individual and Registration Certificate in case of firms, etc along with the prescribed tender form. 10. After the date of possession of vehicle by the successful bidder, C-DAC will not be liable in any manner regarding its use & misuse. 11. Transfer of ownership of vehicle will be done by the successful bidder within 30 days at their own cost and other dues, if any, after the actual date of possession will be borne by the bidder. 12. Local sales tax will have to be paid by the successful tenderer over and above his / offer as per the Govt. Rules. 13. Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) reserves the right to reject any bid(s) or to cancel the disposal of vehicle at any stage without assigning any reason. 14. EMD of the firm rescinding their offer, withdrawing or abrogating after submitting the bid shall stand forfeited. Decision of C-DAC, shall be final in this regard. 15. If the highest quoting firm fails to honour the bid; the contract will be cancelled & its EMD forfeited. In such an event, an opportunity shall be given to the next highest quoting eligible tenderer (L-2 quoting party) to complete the bid provided it is prepared to accept the prices offered by the L-1 party. 16. Tendering form should be signed by the authorized signatory only. Photocopy or unsigned quotations or quotations not signed by authorized signatory shall be rejected. 17. Tenderer shall alone be responsible for furnishing any false or wrong information and the consequences or loss thereof. 18. Any dispute arising against this disposal, the decision of the competent authority, Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) shall be final and binding. 19.
