The plan pays a lump-sum benefit for specific conditions, such as heart attack, stroke, cancer, transplant, Alzheimer s disease and paralysis and benefits for eligible travel and lodging expenses. Hospital Indemnity Plan Coverage The Hospital Indemnity Plan provides a limited benefit that can help you pay the cost of an inpatient hospital stay.
