All the Dak to be sent to one station shall be weighed together in an envelope and accordingly the payment will be calculated in the case all LIC fices under the jurisdiction Nagpur Division. 2. If the weight the article/envelop will be more than one Kilogram, then the payment to be made will be calculated to the nearest Kilogram, For example, if the weight is more than one Kilogram, then the weight from 001. To 500 s. Will be ignored and the payment will be made on the basis one kilogram. But if the weight is more than one Kilogram, then from 501 grams to 999 grams the calculation will be made to the next Kilogram. In other words, the payment will be made taking the weight as two Kilogram. 3. Service Provider should deploy pickup personnel for locations where our Divisional Offices and Branches housed for 4. The Firm/Authorized Person the firm will collect the envelopes/articles to be sent through courier from the concerned fice on each working day under acknowledgement (as per attached list our 34 Offices) 5. If the weight the Dak/Articles to be sent through courier is more than 250 s.,the entries in this regard will be made on the envelopes/packing the article as well as in the Register maintained by the fice. 6. The firm will also submit report to our Office on a CD/DVD on a monthly basis at no extra charges, in case duplicate CD/DVD is required, and a fee Rs.100 /- (One Hundred) will be paid by us. All delivery records should be maintained by the agency for a minimum period 18 (Eighteen) months in their computers. The payment shall be released by respective branches only for dak delivered after making random check the delivery date provided by the firm on the CD/DVD. No payment shall be made for undelivered DAK / for s not submitted. Suitable remarks should be placed in the delivery report in the CD/DVD. 7. In case, any complaint is received against the firm, the Competent Authority the Corporation will have the right to forfeit the EMD and Security Deposit by giving 15 days notice to terminate the Courier Service being rendered by the Firm. 8. After allotment the tender, the successful Vendor will have to deposit Security Monty (non interest bearing) through Demand Draft Rs. 2, 00,000/- (Rs. Initially the period will be for two years which may be extended for one year more subject to satisfactory services after taking approval from the competent authority. 12. The rates quoted shall include all taxes, duties; service taxes etc. and nothing shall be paid on any account. 13. The rates Courier Service may be revised proportionately on the basis revision Postal Rates (if any). 14. The Contractor/Courier service provider will furnish names and addresses telephone nos./mob.nos their representative who could be called/contracted in case any urgent work. 15. 5 16. Please also submit copy ITRs the last 3 years and copies other related documents like TAN, PAN experience etc., Income Tax Return Preceding three years. 17. The Firm will have to ensure delivery the Dak at the earliest but not later than 5 days. 18. The LIC India will lodge FIR in case the documents are lost and will complete all the formalities. In case the documents/article sent through Courier is lost or delivered late and if any dispute is raised by third party, all the expenses and damages will be borne by the firm or recovered from the monthly payment. The firm shall not be eligible for any payment the dak delivered after seven days. Any litigation in this regard is subject to the jurisdiction Nagpur District Court only. 19. In case any data/forms are required to be collected from the recipients the DAK, charges for the same would be paid separately. 20.
