Background: Bank has been arranging insurance cover, for all IT Assets of the Bank which have been capitalized and outstanding in the books as on 31st March every year. In respect of IT Assets capitalized during the period between April to March, insurance cover is arranged on monthly basis as endorsement to the Policy; viz., Insurance for IT Assets capitalized during the month is arranged during first week of the succeeding month. Also, Hardware delivered at various locations of the Bank which are pending for capitalization in the books of the Bank and total cost of all such items upto 1.00 Crore, is also covered under Insurance through separate Policy. Accordingly, Bank has arranged for insurance cover for the Computer and related assets and the existing policy period is to Pre-Qualification for Bidder: 1. The Bidder must have a valid IRDAI License for procuring general insurance business in India and shall have complied with all the statutory requirements of IRDAI. 2. The Bidder must have a track record of minimum two years of operations in general insurance business in India as on , i.e., completed two years of commencement of business as on The Bidder should have at least ONE channel partner either under Bancassurance or under group insurance tie up with Public/Private Sector Banks, which is operational for a minimum of ONE year as on

2 Objectives and Scope of Policy: 1. Providing insurance coverage for IT Assets/Hardware of the Bank. 2. The policy shall cover all the Risks of Standard Fire & Perils, Burglary Electrical/Mechanical Breakdown, Floods, Lightning, Explosion, Riots, and Earthquake & Terrorism. 3. 3 The number of systems and capitalized cost of such items and the sum to be insured as on is furnished above. While arriving at these values we have taken in to account the following points. We have adopted the method as discussed below to arrive at the sum insured for various types of policies/coverage. 1. All capitalized items of cost less than 5, NOT to be insured. 2. All capitalized items of Software, Testing Charges, Octroi Paid are NOT to be insured. 3. All capitalized items related to ATM like UPS, AC, CTU, VSS/DVR, Depository Module, Cheque Deposit Kiosk, Information Writing Panel Ledger, Dip Card Reader, Access Lock, ATM Site, Other ATM Upgradation, etc are to be insured under SFSP (Not in EEIP) as per the method for SFHW. Since most of the DVR (External Type) are replaced by the Vendors with the upgraded (Internal Type) one, and thus forming a part of ATM itself, we have excluded Old DVR for insuring under EEIP policy. However these are included in SFHW policy. Insurance cover for the items outstanding in our books as on has to be arranged through a Master Policy for the period from to at the rate offered by the L1 (Lowest) Insurance Company. Insurance cover for the new items added/capitalized in Bank s books from to shall be covered at the same rate through the same Insurance Company on monthly basis as endorsement to the Master Policy. The selected Insurance Company shall provide location wise status of claims received, if any, on fortnightly basis, to Bank. All UPS Systems Non capitalized Items Risk of Fire, Floods, Lightning, Explosion, Riots, Earthquake and Terrorism Items delivered but yet to capitalize in the Books of the Bank The present policy covering all Computer and related items will be expiring on Hence Bank seeks for quotations from General Insurance Companies to enable the Bank to renew the Policy for a period of One year i.e. from to , covering all capitalized Computer/UPS and related items as on of the Bank across the country. The selected Insurance Company shall provide location wise status of claims received, if any, on fortnightly basis, to Bank. The method of calculation of sum insured value of the assets for the period to is furnished below. Insurance cover for the new items added/capitalized in Bank s books from to shall be covered at the same rate through the same Insurance Company on monthly basis as endorsement to the Master Policy; viz., Insurance for IT Assets added/capitalized during the month is to be arranged NIL

Also, Hardware delivered at various locations of the Bank which are pending for capitalization, upto 1.00 Crore, is to be covered under Insurance through separate Policy. 3. Insurance cover for the items outstanding as on shall commence from and will be valid for one year (i.e., upto ) and thereafter on monthly basis as endorsement to the Policy from the date of payment of Premium till The selected Insurance Company shall provide location wise details/status of claims received on fortnightly basis to Bank. 5. Premium quotes should be in Indian Rupees only for total sum insured without adding any cost & in the format provided in Annexure to this RFQ. Separate policies to be issued for respective Sum Insured from and will be valid for one year (i.e., upto ) and thereafter on monthly basis as endorsement to the Policy from the date of payment of Premium till Summary of claims admitted by the Insurance Company during last 5 years under the Policy as below. No. Financial Year No. of Claims Amount in Lakhs General instructions to Insurance Companies participating in the RFQ process: 1) No Commitment to accept lowest or any offer: SyndicateBank shall be under no obligation to accept the lowest or any other offer received in response to this RFQ notice and shall be entitled to reject any or all offers including those received late or incomplete offers and also to cancel the entire process, without assigning any reason whatsoever. SyndicateBank reserves the right to make any change in the terms and conditions of offer. Syndicate Bank will not be obliged to meet and have discussions with any General Insurance Company, and / or to listen to any representations. 2) Erasures or Alterations: The offer should be neatly typed and no hand-written addition/alterations should be there. Such additions/alterations will make the offer ineligible. Details must be completely filled up. Syndicate Bank may treat offers not adhering to these guidelines as unacceptable. 3) Right to alter Terms and Conditions: Syndicate Bank reserves the right to alter the terms of offer specified in the RFQ document, including the last date for submission of Bids.

6 4) Clarifications: Clarifications to the RFQ may be sought by mail at (Mob: ) under information to Last date for seeking clarifications on the RFQ shall be 19/04/2018 & the last date for issuing clarifications by uploading the same in Bank s website will be 21/04/2018 EOD. 5) Mode of submission of Bids: Sealed envelopes containing the quotes signed by the authorized persons along with documentary proof as per annexure, super-scribed Name of the Insurance Company- Quotation for Insurance Cover for Bank IT Assets/Hardware, addressed to the General Manager, Syndicate Bank, Marketing Department Insurance Division, Devanga Tower, 2nd Floor, No 35, K G Road, Bengaluru , should be delivered at the aforesaid address on or before 14:00 Hrs of 25/04/2018. Bids will be opened by Hrs on the same day, in the presence of bidders who choose to be present. 6) Those insurance providers, who want to send their bids through Post/Courier, should take care to send their bids early, so that the envelopes reach the above address before the scheduled time as mentioned above. Bank will not be responsible for any delay on the part of Postal Department or Courier Company in delivering the envelopes with delay, wrong delivery or non delivery. 7) Any bid received after the scheduled time either through personal delivery or through Post/courier shall be summarily rejected. 8) The cost of preparing and submitting the proposal shall have to be borne by the Insurance Company and the Bank reserves the right to reject any or all of the proposal and/or annul the entire process without assigning any reason what so ever. 9) The Bank shall be under no obligation to accept any offer received in response to this notice and shall be entitled to reject any or all offers without assigning any reason whatsoever. The Bank may abort the entire process at any stage without thereby incurring any liability to the affected Bidder(s) or any obligation to inform the affected Bidder(s) of the grounds for Bank's action. 10) Bank reserves the right to select the next ranked bidder, if after selection the selected bidder withdraws his offer or bank detects wrong or misleading information in the proposal. In case the selected bidder withdraws his offer, Bank reserves right to take such action as it deems fit, including claim of damages against the Bidder. 11) Bidder should submit single quote for all the risk coverage, if multiple quotes from a bidder are received, shall be summarily rejected. 12) Bidder to provide copy of policy wordings along with quotations. 13) Bidder to provide Key Policy exclusions to be highlighted in the quotation clearly.
