1 BANK OF BARODA REQUIREMENT OF DIESEL GEN-SET FOR SEC-14 MEERUT ROAD, KARNAL Bank of Baroda invites applications from Vendors/Contractors for hiring of diesel Gen-Set on lease for maintaining continuous power supply at our SECTOR 14 MEERUT ROAD Distt. KARNAL branch. The capacity of Gen-Set should be-15-kva and Gen-Set should be of ISO certified/isi mark. Sealed offers are invited from vendors/contractors having sufficient experience of operating AND MAINTAINING Gen-Set. The contractor/vendor should also fulfill the following conditions:- Contractor/Vendor should be resident of the area (proximity of the branch). Maximum distance from the branch should be 5 kms. Contractor/vendor should be able to provide manpower during the banking hours for look after of DG-Sets. Contractor/Vendor should possess the adequate technical skill for running the generator sets. Contractor/Vendor should not be defaulter of bank s loan/ Government agency. Vendor should have minimum -3- years experience of operating and maintaining Diesel Gen-Set. The vendor should be financially sound i.e. capable of providing services at their own cost. (Please attach last 3 years balance sheet for reference). DG Set should be of ISO Certified/ISI mark and should be sound proof with weather proof enclosure and should confirm the statutory Government noise level norms. The vendor should have license/no objection certificate from the local bodies to install the generator set outside the branch premises. The DG Set should be efficient and in working condition, preferably new DG Set should be installed. Fuel Gauge meter should be available with the DG Set. Load of generator will be for exclusive use of the branch. The DG Set will be provided at owner s risk and necessary security will be provided by the owner himself and not by the bank. Pollution norms in the area must be compiled with by vendor. The vendor has to insure the DG Set as per probable risks including third party insurance If insurance cover is not being provided by Insurance Company, then all probable damages will be paid by the owner) Offers in two sealed envelopes in conformity with two-bid system should contain the following details. Envelop No. (1) Marked Technical Bid (TB) (Performa enclosed)should contain full Technical details viz. Capacity of Gen-Set, make of Gen-Set to be

2 installed, details of contractor and Gen-Set etc. No indication as to price aspect be given in Technical Bid. Envelop No. (2) Marked Financial Bid (FB) (Performa enclosed) should contain strictly financial details, viz. Rent per month (inclusive of all taxes), performance security etc. Offers should be valid for minimum period of 120 days from the last date of submission. Both the sealed covers marked as TB & FB superscripting advertisement reference and applicant name and address, be put in one sealed cover marked Application for-15-kva DG-Set for Bank of Baroda.. Distt.. branch, addressed and submitted to Dy.
