5 Acknowledgement for Membership Candidate I hereby apply for Membership at The Moorings Yacht & Country Club. I understand that The MYCC is a privately owned Club and that ownership of property in The Moorings does not entitle me to membership in, or use of, the Club facilities unless or until my membership application has been accepted and is approved. If elected for membership, I agree to read and conform to The MYCC s present and future Bylaws, Rules and Regulations as well as those of the Yacht Club, if applicable. I will accept full responsibility for my guests and will make them aware of the rules. I understand that disciplinary action, in accordance with the Bylaws, may be initiated for violation of the rules or for conduct prejudicial to the best interests of the Club. _ Applicant Signature Date All prospective members submit a completed Membership Profile. Membership in The MYCC is through sponsorship by existing Club members. You have been asked to supply the name of a proposer who will be contacted by the Club on your behalf. They must be a member of the Club and in good standing at the time their recommendation is presented. In addition, copies of prospective members driver s licenses and credit card are required for identification and settlement purposes. These materials make up your membership profile packet. After receipt of your profile packet, your name will be posted on the Club bulletin boards for fifteen (15) days. After the posting period, your profile packet will be forwarded to the General Manager for approval. Upon acceptance, you will receive a letter requesting your membership payment within fifteen (15) days. We are unable to accept joining fees paid by credit card. Monthly Statement Each month you will receive a statement in the US Mail and an advising that your statement is ready to view online. The entire bill is due in full upon receipt. You may pay your bill by sending in a personal check, online through a checking or savings account, online with Visa or Master Card (transaction fees apply) or through automatic withdraw. Automatic Withdraw is the preferred method. By making this election below, monthly club charges will be deducted automatically on the 20th of each month or first business day after.
