Page: 2 Tender for transportation of security documents/clearing instruments etc.to Reserve Bank of India, Nariman Point, State Bank of India, Worli and to and from our Central Back Office (Service Branch), at Sir P. M. Road Mumbai and other Branches of our Bank within Mumbai Municipal Area, Thane District, Raigar Dist Maharashtra etc. Reputed courier service providers fulfilling the following conditions may apply in two Bid system:- Must be in courier business for a minimum period of -10-years. Must have its well-equipped Main office/sub Office with necessary infrastructure for courier service in Mumbai. Must have a valid Service Tax Number/ PAN /TAN Must have Income Tax Clearance / having filed Income Tax Returns for the last 3 years. Must have turnover for the Courier Services for Rs.50 Lacs per annum during the last three years. Must be carrying out similar work for other Nationalised Bank for last 5- years, Must be able to give a security deposit of Rs.50,000/-, and willing to enter into an agreement as per the draft to be given by the Bank, in the event of awarding of the contract, Should be willing to take out Insurance for /against loss of cheques/document. N.B. The relative documentary proof in respect of above must accompany the Tender. The contract would be for a initial period of -1- year and may be extended for further period of 1 year at the same rate, subject to satisfactory services. The vendors fulfilling the above conditions may apply in two bid system i.e. Technical Bid & Financial Bid & in two separate envelops super scribing the words Technical bid for Annual Rate Contract for courier service for Central Back Office (Service Branch), Mumbai & Financial bid for Annual Rate Contract for courier service for Service branch Mumbai respectively and send both envelops in one single envelop marked as Tender for Courier Service for Central Back Office (Service branch),mumbai. Interested Service providers may download the tender form (as per annexure A/1 & A/2 & B from Bank s website and submit along with a DD / Banker cheque of Rs.100/- in favour of Bank of Baroda, payable at Mumbai. Service providers should submit the tenders only in the prescribed format, in two bid system as explained above, so as to reach this office by 1.00 p.m. on or before Submission of tenders in any other format or after the above mentioned date and time will not be entertained & will be summarily rejected. 3

However, in case of the lowest / successful bidder backing out from the terms and conditions mentioned in their tender or refuses to honour their tender, the earnest money deposit will be forfeited. 2. 6 6 Annexure B FINANCIAL BID FINANCIAL BID FOR ANNUAL RATE CONTRACT FOR SERVICE BRANCH MUMBAI, FOR DELIVERY OF CLEARINGINSTRUMENTS ETC. AND RATES FOR COURIER SERVICE.: 1) Rate per Branch/per Trip Rs. 2) To pick up clearing from RBI/SBI Rs. per month. Rates should be basic rate. Service Tax quoted separately. should be FINANCIAL BID - GENERAL CONDITIONS : The Rates quoted must be only in the format given in the Tender per branch per trip. The rates must be net rates. However, if service tax is payable the same may be specified separately. The courier boys should be provided with uniforms and 1 st Class Railway pass for transporting clearing instruments and other mails. They must move in taxi auto rickshaw from nearest Railway Station to respective branches. The clearing bags should be water proof and shall be provided by the bidder. No Conditional discount will be considered. The Successful Bidder will have to give a Security Deposit of Rs. 50,000/- in the form to be decided by the appropriate authority. This amount will be released only after the termination of services. In the event of any breach of contract/tender conditions, the Security Deposit will be forfeited. The Rates quoted will be binding and valid for a period of -12- months from the date of awarding of the Rate Contract and no increase whatsoever will be considered during the contract period. The contract may be extended for further period of -12- months at the same rate at the discretion of the bank on satisfactory service record..7
7 7 The payment will be made by the office, within -10- days, upon submission of the bill accompanied with the required acknowledgement slips. The Vendor will have to enter in to an formal agreement containing terms and conditions as approved by Bank. The Vendor will have to obtain a suitable insurance cover/plan for making good losses arising out of loss/damage of consignment during transit. The delivery proof will be given through the duly signed receipt from the recipient, on a mutually agreed method and on periodical basis. Any delay in delivery beyond agreed period willbe subject to penalty, to be determined mutually, per consignment unless the delay is beyond one s control. Any deficiency in service will be subject to penalty which shall be recovered from the bill of the agency.
