Bidders should write on the envelope TENDER FOR REFURBISHING OF PRINTER TONER. All quotations should reach to The Assistant Commissioner (Systems), Customs, Central Excise & Service Tax, Nagpur, PO Box No 81, Civil Lines, Telangkhedi Road, Nagpur on or before 25 th March, 2014 by 11 A.M. positively. Any quotation received after the specified date & time shall not be entertained. The models of Toners to be refurbished are as follows: S. 3 TERMS AND CONDITIONS ANNEXURE A 1. Separate sealed Technical and Financial bids should be kept in a single sealed envelope and super-scribed with Tender for Refurbishing of Printer Toners. The separate technical and financial bids should be clearly marked Technical Bid or Financial Bid on their respective envelopes. The tender will be opened on at hrs in office of the Assistant Commissioner (Systems) Customs, Central Excise & Service Tax, Nagpur. 2. The validity period for tender will be from to The selected firm must give a 100% free of cost replacement Guarantee if a printer Toner fails. 4. Refurbished toner/cartridges must be delivered within 3 days from date of receipt of work order with empty cartridges. 5. The refurbished toner/cartridges should have standard capacity of print pages and print quality. The print yield should be equal to that of Original Equipment manufacturer for each cartridge. 6. There must be free pick up and drop of empty and refurbished toner/cartridges to and from Systems Branch, Customs, Central Excise and Service tax Nagpur. 7. Processing should be strictly according to specifications mentioned in the work order. 8. Refurbished Toner/cartridges if found defective at any time the same must be replaced immediately and any loss occurred due to use of faulty material must be borne by the party and payment of bill if already made will be deducted from any of the pending bills. 9. The bidder should not be blacklisted by the Deptts./Ministries of the Govt. of India or by Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs). 10. The tenders/quotations received incomplete and/or filed after the due date shall be summarily rejected. The parties who wish to be present at the time of opening of Tender/Quotation may represent themselves or authorize their representatives with an authority letter bearing the signature of the representative. The Office of the Commissioner, Customs Central Excise and Service tax, Nagpur reserves the right to cancel the contract any time without assigning any reason.

The bidder should be having sufficient experience and expertise in providing the refurbishing of the toner/cartridges in government departments and same should be declared in annexure B of this document. 12. The quoted rates shall include the material, repair/refurbishment of parts required for printing. 13. The cartridges should be completely rebuilt and not just refilled and should have the same standards as the new ones. Firms which would merely refill cartridges will not be considered. 14. The refurbishing would include complete disassembling of cartridges and filling up of toner, replacement of photo conductive drum, primary charge roller and all other components to ensure the print quality. The quality of toner powder must be of finest quality and quantity must of as per standard procedure. 15. All cartridges are to be tested after refurbishing by installing the cartridge in an applicable printer, running and inspecting test copies. 16. The Office of the Commissioner, Customs Central Excise and Service tax, Nagpur may cancel the contract if any of the points above are not followed by the bidder at any stage.
