7 ABANDON HOPE! It s a uniquely human quality to have hope. It s unlikely that animals have hope. I know that bacteria don t have hope. Animals have expectations based on conditioned or learned responses. Humans expand expectations and turn them into hope. Hope clouds logic by encouraging unrealistic expectations. Success as a trader is enhanced when all hope is abandoned. Hope may be your best friend if you want to be human but hope is your worst enemy if you are a trader (C) 2017 Jake Bernstein

8 I will show/review/give examples of MOVING AVERAGE CHANNEL: all rules of application will be reviewed including the five bar pattern, the MA breakout, the swing trade, the one day and two day CMC patterns, widening channel and the narrowing channel. The profit maximizing strategy and best applications will be reviewed and detailed. SEASONALS: I will review all rules for finding and implementing seasonal trades with specific entry and exit dates and profit maximizing strategies in stocks, futures, and spreads. I will show two ways to search for valid seasonal trades. DIVERGENCE: momentum divergence will be explained in detail with all applicable rules for entry exit and profit maximizing strategy including the rules for MACD, CCI, and detrended oscillator. 8OC: I have heard from many traders who really enjoy and do well with this method that I developed. 11 Let s review a process The best way to make money consistently is to follow a process. No matter what the elements of the process are, step-by-step procedures are the same step one: use an established and proven pattern. This could be a seasonal, divergence, a chart pattern, a correlation, and earnings report, or even a television commentator opinion recommendation Step two: enter when the pattern is triggered. There are many different kinds of triggers but we need to be careful to use only effective triggers Most traders believe that a trading indicator is a trigger. I will explain the difference. Step three: follow through each trade with stop loss based on methodology a profit maximizing strategy. Always have a danger zone strategy to quickly reduce your risk effectively to zero. Step four: always use profit maximizing strategy of which there are a number of choices. Let s look at some examples (C) 2017 Jake Bernstein
