4 Notes (forming part of the financial statements) For the year ended 1 Accounting policies These financial statements have been prepared for the members of the Dorset County Netball Association ( Netball Dorset ) in accordance with section 9.3 of the Netball Dorset Constitution. These financial statements have been prepared on a cash basis and cover the year from 1 May 2015 to. Funding decisions are shown separately from expenditure on game development. 2 Affiliation fees Affiliation fees for players are collected by England Netball and remitted to Netball Dorset. The fees for 2015/16 per player were 7.50 for over-18s, associate members and armed forces, and 5.35 for under 18s, junior leagues, colleges, universities and youth groups, and 3.20 for 14s and under and 0 for 11s and under. (2014/15: 7.35 for over-18s and 5.25 for under-18s). 3 Funding The Board provides funding for the benefit of netball in Dorset from its own funds or from funds for other organisations. During the current year Netball Dorset received a grant from the Dorset Schools Netball Association, which it is administering on its behalf. Funding was also received from Active Dorset, also to assist coaches. In the past year the following funding was provided. 5 Notes (continued) For the year ended 4 Game development Netball Dorset aims to support the development of netball skills throughout Dorset, and activities in this area during the period related to running the Dorset County Academy Programme, the Bournemouth, Poole, North and South & West Satellite Programmes and by assisting teams to enter the SW Regional and National competitions.
