4 ABE Calendar Friday, September 29, 4:30 pm: Open Enrollment (OE) event process to create and prepare OE events will be kicked off. Monday, October 2 through Friday, October 27: OE process will be run nightly to finalize Self Service (ebenefits) elections, and generate confirmation statements. Sunday, October 8 6:00AM-10:00AM: Scheduled HRS Outage. Friday, October 27: OE process will be run several times throughout the day to finalize Self Service (ebenefits) elections. Friday, October 27, 4:30 pm: OE Self Service (ebenefits) security will be disabled and all open events for OE will be finalized. 4

5 ABE Calendar Friday, November 3: Last day to enter ABE enrollments within HRS including updating Coordination of Other Benefits and Medicare. Please contact the UWSC by Wednesday, November 1 if you are unable to meet this deadline. Decentralized institutions may need to set earlier deadlines to meet the November 3 entry. Monday, November 6: Late It s Your Choice appeal approvals will require a WiscIt to UWSC since the change will not be sent to ETF automatically. Monday, November 13: Campuses will be receiving lists of Empl IDs where OE events are unable to finalize, which will prevent the employee from receiving a confirmation statements on November 30. Friday, December 1: Employees with finalized OE events will be sent a confirmation statement. No confirmation statements will be sent after this point. 5

Spreadsheet due by 4:30 PM on 11/10 11/10/17 11/17/17: UWSC will upload enrollments into HRS and transmits to TASC. Week of 11/20/17 12/1/17: UWSC will validate enrollments and send issues to institutions for review. 12/4/17 12/8/17: Institutions will research and respond to identified issues. Issue resolution due by 4:30 PM on 12/8 12/11/17: UWSC will have updated all records in HRS. 24

Do not submit enrollments directly to TASC Health Opt Out Incentive is available through UW Self Service (ebenefits) or paper application. 37

43 ABE 2018 OE Event Reminders Eligibility or enrollment changes while the OE event is open: If an eligibility and enrollment change occurs, the system will automatically reprocess the OE event back to Assign Program to recognize the changes. Risk: Enrollments may be lost if eligibility or enrollment changes (ADM or MSC) and ABE enrollment changes are processed the same day. 43

A PDF of the 1/1/2018 effective insurances will be available for review and print in the portal. The statement will either be displayed on the Statements tab. A copy will be available in Cypress for Administrators. 49
