1 Vanguard Website How to Enroll, Pick your Investments, and Begin Contributing To register, follow the steps below beginning Wednesday, June 11th. If you already have a Vanguard account (with other retirement plans outside of the hospital), you will use that same login to access your new plans with the Chester County Hospital and can skip to page 6. Otherwise, follow this link: Click Register for account access. 1

2 On the next page, click Start. 2

3 After reviewing and accepting the terms and conditions, complete the required personal information and click Continue. 3

4 On the next page, confirm your: 1) hire date or 2) employee number or 3) plan number as on record at Vanguard. The plan numbers are as follows: CCH 403b Plan CCH 401k Plan NHA 401k Plan CCH Retirement Plan Enter one of these pieces of information and click Continue. 4

5 Next, create a username and password. Once the fields are completed, click Continue. The next step is to set up security features such as security questions to be used when resetting passwords and as an extra layer of security when contacting Vanguard s Participant Services hotline. This completes the registration process. The next few pages describe how to change investment options (for current participants) and how to choose new deferral amounts and investment options (for new participants). 5

6 For Current Participants If you currently participate with MassMutual, and have assets coming over to Vanguard, you will see the following Participant Home Page. At this time, however, you will not be able to see the assets in your plans until the money has moved over in July. Your account balance should be $0 at this time. The plan names have also changed, as follows: Old Plan Name CCH 403(b) New Plan(s) Name University of Pennsylvania Health System Retirement Plan (employee money) Univ of Penn Health System Retirement Contribution Plan (employer money) CCH 401(k) Univ of Penn Health System Retirement Contribution Plan (employee and employer money) NHA 401(k) University of Pennsylvania Health System Retirement Plan (employee money) Univ of Penn Health System Retirement Contribution Plan (employer money) CCH Retirement Plan Univ of Penn Health System Retirement Contribution Plan (employer money) 6

7 To Change Allocations, click Manage my money. Notice that under Manage my Money you may see multiple plan options. Your accounts are broken down into money which you contribute (your deferrals, rollovers, etc ) and money that the hospital contributes (employer match). You will have to choose a different investment strategy for different types of money. The only exception is for the 401k plan (the subsidiary practices, not NHA), which is all in one account. If you also see an account listed for the Chester County Hospital Retirement Plan (which is the frozen plan), you will have to choose different investments for that plan as well. Choose a plan and then click Change my investments under the appropriate plan heading. 7

8 Then choose Change paycheck investment mix. 8

9 On the next screen, various elections can be made. You have the option to choose an all in one fund (such as Target Retirement) or to choose funds from the plan s full investment line up. The total percentage must equal 100%. When finished, click continue. 9

10 Next, review and confirm elections prior to clicking Submit. If you had more than one type of money in your account (employer money, employee money) go back and choose your investment options for those plans as well. Notice that at this time, current participants do not have the option of changing your deferral amount (2%, 3.5%, etc ). You can, however, change that amount with MassMutual up until July 8 th, but you cannot change it with Vanguard until after the blackout period after July 27 th. However, new participants (an employee who is eligible to participate in the 403b or 401k account but currently does not contribute) can choose their deferral amounts with Vanguard between June 11 th and July 11 th. The instructions to do so are on the following pages. New participants will also only have to choose their investment mix once, meaning however you choose to invest your new elections, all of your money (both employee and employer) will be invested in that one allocation strategy. Current participants are now done the registration and investment election process. If you need additional assistance, please call Vanguard at Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 9pm. 10

11 For New Participants The Homepage for eligible but not participating employees looks a little different. This page will show any plans that you are eligible to participate in. Click Begin enrollment to choose initial investment allocations and payroll deferrals. 11

12 On the next page, you can choose your payroll deferral percentage. You will be able to choose a percent of your gross pay or a flat dollar amount. Note that this is a biweekly amount. Once completed, click Continue. 12

13 On the next page, you have the option to choose an all in one fund (such as Target Retirement) or to choose funds from the plan s full investment line up. 13

14 If you choose an all in one option, 100% of that employee s deferrals and employer contributions will be allocated to that fund. If you choose to pick from the full investment line up, you have the opportunity to select the percentage to each fund. The total percentage must equal 100%. Once all investment elections are complete, click Continue. 14

15 On the next screen, review your elections for accuracy and either make changes or click Submit. This will complete your deferral election and investment elections. The deferral percent that you elect should begin by the August 1st paycheck. If you need additional assistance, please call Vanguard at Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 9pm. 15
