2 GOAL: BUILD THE BASE Priorities Support Our Clubs Strategies Provide a spectrum of innovative educational opportunities for coaches, team leaders and parents. Help teams and coaches improve performance. Create communication platforms that share information and enhance awareness of support programs and opportunities. Increase meet opportunities for team participation. Encourage and facilitate participation in Club Recognition and Club Excellence Programs. Develop Resources Grow and sustain partnership and sponsorship relationships Encourage and support the role of volunteers in our clubs and LSC Implement succession planning in our clubs and organizational governance Maximize new and existing facility opportunities Grow and Retain Membership Promote entry-level membership categories as initiated by USA Swimming Create initiatives to target retention of age group athletes Expand opportunities for participation of diversity and inclusion athletes Develop fun, family-friendly experiences to support long-term interest in swimming Enhance parent education
