The changes reflect course changes/updates within the dance curriculum Impact on Other Programs are all within the School of Theatre & Dance so there should be no impact on other programs.

3 Dance : 17 The dance minor is designed to bring the student in close contact with classroom expertise in technique, as well as the enriching artistic and production aspects of dance. Admission to the dance minor requires the completion of Basic Modern Dance (at appropriate level) at UF with a minimum grade of B. Students then will meet with the dance minor advisor for approval to enter the program and to establish a program of study. The minor is comprised of a core of credits plus 6-7 credits of emphasis as approved by the advisor. At least 1 of these credits must be completed at UF. It normally takes four semesters to complete the minor. DAA 1000, Fundamentals of Dance Technique does not count towards the minor.
