1 quad double STEM Academy Disney Adventure with YES Program February 26-28, 2016 Trip #10108 Disney s Youth Education Series (Y.E.S.) transports students behind the scenes of Walt Disney World Theme Parks to showcase textbook principles. Students can be found swirling through G-force motion to test the laws of physics, meeting people and experiencing what life is like on the other side of the globe, and checking out all kinds of careers from business to acting. Each grade level will participate in one of the YES Programs that coincides with the curriculum being taught in the classroom! The following information will help plan for the trip. SCHEDULE February 26 Early morning departure from Savannah and travel to. Orlando. AM snack and juice included en route. Arrive at Epcot for the day (boxed lunch included). Students will have the opportunity to explore Future World and the Countries of the World Exhibits. Enjoy fireworks and a laser show tonight! Dinner coupon included for inside the park. Hotel check-in. February 27 Today is an early rise for breakfast at the hotel and each grade level will transfer to a Disney Park for a morning YES Program. All groups will meet after lunch for the remainder of the afternoon at the Magic Kingdom (lunch voucher included). Free time to enjoy the Lands of Tomorrow, Adventure and Fantasy. A meal coupon is included for dinner in the park followed by the Light Parade and Fireworks show this evening! February 28 Breakfast this morning and we head out on Safari at Animal Kingdom (lunch voucher included). The group departs the park at 3:00pm and travels home. Dinner stop included en route. 2 TRANSPORTATION Modern motorcoach transportation will be provided for all tours conducted by Kelly Tours. The motorcoach will be operated by an experienced driver and equipped with a DVD player and a restroom. ALLERGIES OR SPECIAL NEEDS If a traveler has food allergies or special dietary needs please contact Kelly Tours at least 30 days prior to the trip s departure date. KELLY TOURS ESCORT If listed as included in package price, a Kelly Tours representative will accompanythe groupto all destinations to oversee the trip and take care of all arrangements. This is an added feature that will allow the chaperones to handle their responsibilities. GRATUITIES Gratuities for the driver and escort who accompany the group are not included in the package price. We recommend $2 per person/per day for the driver and $2 per person/per day for the escort as each will work hard to ensure that everyone has a great trip! Meal gratuities are included in your package price. PAYMENT INFORMATION Don t Turn In Money To Teachers! No teacher will accept payments for trips. Please do not send payments for this trip to the school. Mail the payment to Kelly Tours or check the remaining balance and make your payment conveniently online at corn. Please make all payments payable to Kelly Tours, Inc. Checks, cash, money orders, or credit card payments are accepted. Please include your driver s license number, student s/traveler s name and the trip number on your check. (A charge will be incurred on all checks returned for insufficient funds. If a trip is cancelled within 3 days of the tour 50% of the trip cost is non-refundable. All other payments will be refunded through Kelly Tours should a student have to cancel for any reason. Written notice must be sent to notify KellyTours of cancellation and the refund will be mailed out. GENERAL INFORMATION A final letter will be sent to participants highlighting departure and return times, important phone numbers and arrangements, what to bring and an updated schedule of the trip. WAIT LISTS Kelly Tours buses accommodate 56 passengers (including the chaperones and escort). Availability on all motor coach tours is based on a first come first serve basis. If space is not available, the traveler will be put on a waiting list. An additional bus may be added to the trip (at the discretion of the school and KellyTours) if the waiting list exceeds 20 people by the final payment date. Signups with initial or full payment made after the final payment date will not be guaranteed space on the trip, and, in most cases, will not be processed. KELLY TOURS, INC. - RESPONSIBILITY AND COMPULSORY ARBITRATION This form is important. It includes Terms & Conditions and releases Kelly Tours, Inc. from liability. All participants and parents or guardians of participants under age 18 must sign this form, I understand and agree that this Agreement shall constitute a binding contract between the undersigned and KellyTours, Inc. which for this contract includes its officers, directors, shareholders and employees, (collectively, Kelly ). Except for certain buses and vans, Kelly does not own or operate any entity which is to or does provide goods or services for your program, including, for example, arrangements for or ownership or control over lodging facilities, airline, vessel, bus or other transportation companies, local ground operators, visa processing services, providers or organizers of optional excursions, food service of any kind or entertainment providers, etc. All such persons and entities are independent contractors. As a result, Kelly is not liable for any negligent or willful act or failure to act of any such person or entity, or of any third party. Without limitation, Kelly is not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage to person or property, death, delay or inconvenience in connection with the provision of any goods or services occasioned by or resulting from, but not limited to, acts of God, force majeure, acts of war or civil unrest, insurrection or revolt, strikes or other labor activities, criminal, terrorist or threatened terrorist activities of any kind, overbooking or downgrading of accommodations, structural or other defective conditions in lodging facilities (or in any heating, plumbing, electrical or structural problem therein), mechanical or other failure of airplanes or other means of transportation or for any failure of any transportation mechanism to arrive or depart timely, dangers associated with animals, sanitation problems, food poisoning, epidemics or the threat thereof, disease, lack of, access to or quality of medical care, difficulty in evacuation in case of a medical or other emergency, or for any other cause beyond the direct control of Kelly. COMPUSLORY ARBITRATION. Upon making payment for this trip, I agree that any dispute concerning, relating, or referring to this contract, the brochure, or any other literature concerning my program, or the program itself shall be resolved exclusively by binding arbitration in Savannah, Georgia, according to the then existing commercial rules of the American Arbitration Association. 6 October 5, 2015 Dear STEM Academy Disney trip participants, We have arranged a World s finest Chocolate fundraiser for those of you who want to offset some of the cost of the Disney trip. You will make $.50 for every $1 bar of the World s finest Chocolate that yott and your child sell. The profit will be sent to Kelly Tours to be credited to your child s account. Your child does not have to participate. This is totally voluntaiy Jar those who would like to make the cost of thefield trip less painfill. If your child chooses to participate, please sign the permission slip on the bottom of this letter, and return it to me in room E-3/ GYM. Your signature affirms that yott assume responsibility for the candy and will pay for any chocolate bars that might become melted, lost, stolen, or eaten during a sugar attack. Only when parental permission is received, and the deposit to Kelly Tours is made, will a box of chocolate be issued to your child.
