4 Terms and Definitions: Equipment Names Bryant equipment models are referred to by series: Evolution System, Preferred Series or Legacy Line. MyHVACpin MyHVACpin number is a four or five digit identification number that uniquely identifies a person - in this case, the Sales Associate. For a homeowner to submit a claim and a Sales Associate to receive sales credit, each Sales Associate must have his or her own MyHVACpin number. When a person becomes a registered user of HVACpartners.com (meaning they have their own user name and password), they also are assigned a unique personal identification number, referred to as a MyHVACpin number. Dealers must enter this number when filing claims in order to receive credit for the sale. Sales Associates can learn their MyHVACpin number in one of the following ways: Log onto HVACpartners.com, click on My Profile, and scroll to the field labeled MyHVACpin Contact the distributor s HVACpartners Administrator (who can look up the Sales Associate s profile listed in HVACpartners.com) Call Bryant Solution Center at (888) Important: The HVACpartners ID number is not the same as the MyHVACpin number: HVACpartners ID identifies a company/dealer location MyHVACpin number identifies a person - in this case, the Sales Associate Key Dates: Promotion Period: April 1, 2016 to June 30, 2016 Installation Deadline: July 15, 2016 Claiming Deadline: July 31, 2016 by 6:00 p.m. Central Time Dealer enrollment: April 1 July 15, 2016 Only Bryant systems or units purchased from participating dealers between April 1, 2016 and June 30, 2016 and installed by July 15, 2016 are eligible for the Bryant Bonus promotion. 5 Homeowner (individual consumer): Pre- sale questions, contact their Bryant dealer, or Consumer Relations at Rebate questions, contact the Bryant Bonus Claim Center at for rebate claim & processing questions, claim status confirmation, or other rebate claim- specific inquiries Homeowner Eligibility: Homeowners in Canada are eligible for the Bryant Bonus promotion. Only Bryant systems sold as a replacement for the homeowner s existing system or as an add-on to an existing home system qualify. Not Eligible for this Promotion: Commercial or institutional applications Residential new construction applications or upgrades Multi- family applications Investors/investment properties Qualifying Products: The Bryant Bonus Rebate Grid illustrates the products that qualify for the Spring 2016 Bryant Bonus promotion. Unit Only Sale: Definition A rebate incentive exists for non- system unit only sales. Reference the Spring 2016 rebate grid for what products are eligible for unit-only sale rebates. Specifically, the row and column labeled Unit Only. Evolution unit-only product rebates require a Bryant branded control to qualify. If any other control, thermostat or air purifier is used, or none of these 3 are used, there is no rebate value. Refer to the rebate grid for eligible controls. System Sale: Definition To qualify for a system sale, the homeowner must purchase a Bryant indoor unit (furnace, fan coil), a Bryant outdoor unit (air conditioner or heat pump) and a Bryant branded control, thermostat or air purifier. The Bryant indoor unit, the Bryant outdoor unit, and the control must be included in the Spring 2016 rebate grid. No substitutions will be accepted. All product rebates on this grid (system AND unit-only), excluding ductless splits & IAQ must include the sale of a standard Bryant branded thermostat, Bryant control or Bryant air purifier. Standard air Purifiers include Evolution series (GAPAA, GAPAB) & Preferred Series (PGAP). Only Bryant branded controls designated on the rebate grid may be used to qualify. No competitive controls or other Bryant/Carrier Corporation brand (Totaline, etc.) controls may be used. Multiple Unit Rebates: Homeowners are eligible to receive multiple unit rebates for multiple purchases of the same product with eligible Bryant branded controls, thermostats or air purifiers. However, multiple unit rebates require the completion of multiple rebate claim forms, one unit rebate per claim form. For example, if a homeowner purchases two Evolution furnaces with two eligible Bryant branded controls, the dealer must complete two (2) separate rebate claim forms and file two claims on Bryantpromotions.com. The homeowner will receive two (2) debit cards, one for each claim. Multiple rebates will not be combined together into one debit card. 4

9 Submitting a Rebate Claim: Dealer Sales Associates should perform the following steps after the equipment installation is complete and the Homeowner s final payment is made: 1) Provide all of the information requested in the Dealer section of the rebate claim form. Be sure to include the MyHVACpin number. 2) Help the homeowner complete the Homeowner section of the rebate claim form to ensure completeness and accuracy. 3) Advise homeowners to apply for their rebate by entering their claim online at This website can be accessed 24 hours a day. After submitting a claim, the system responds with a confirmation number, which the homeowner should retain for reference and tracking purposes. 4) Remind homeowners of the claim submission deadline of July 31, 2016, and that claims beyond that deadline will be rejected. 5) Give the white copy of the rebate claim form to the Homeowner. 6) Take the yellow and pink copy of the rebate claim form back to the dealership. 7) Attach a copy of the sales ticket to the yellow copy and place in dealer s job file. 8) Mail the pink copy to your regional contact at Bryant Canada. The dealer and Bryant Canada should keep their copies of the rebate claim form on file until: All rebates are paid Invoices have been paid Once homeowners submit their claim online, the rebate will be paid in the form of a pre- paid debit card in 4-6 weeks. Important Notes: I. No rebates will be accepted unless the correct and valid dealership HVACpartners.com ID number is used. Homeowners without this information will be directed to contact their dealer to obtain the correct HVACpartners.com ID number. II. Neither dealers nor their sales associates may claim the rebate for the homeowner. In addition, Bryant may not claim the rebate for the homeowner. Furthermore, third parties may not claim the rebate for the Homeowner. Debit cards will only be paid out to the homeowner who made the purchase. Illegal Activity: Dealers may not charge the homeowner for any portion of the rebate, as this activity is considered fraud and is illegal. Promotion Deadlines: Accounting guidelines and regulations will not permit claim exceptions to be funded from the factory beyond the published deadline. Missed deadlines due to rebate claim system errors will be addressed on a case- by- case basis. o To be eligible for consideration, dealer must provide proof of system issues/errors by submitting screenshots or other supporting documentation that show the actual error/issue. o Dealers must contact Bryant for assistance with the error and provide the required substantiating information before the Spring 2016 claim processing deadline of July 31, o A claim being reviewed due to system issues/errors does not guarantee claim acceptance or payment. 8
10 Re- Issuance of a Filed Claim In the event a filed and accepted rebate claim from the Spring 2015 Bryant Bonus promotion needs to be re-issued, please note and follow these important dates and stipulations: Spring 2016 rebates may be reissued 90 days from the end of the Spring promotion period. Rebates from previous Bryant Bonus promotions will no longer be re- issued. For any re- issuances, the Bryant dealer may incur a $50 processing fee. Bryant may invoice the dealer in full for each re- issuance. Dealer Rebate Cost and Billing: The cost of the homeowner rebate is shared by the dealer, Bryant Canada (distributor), and Bryant (factory). Dealers are responsible for 40% of the cost of the rebate (See dealer rebate contribution grid within this publication). Bryant Canada will invoice the dealer at the end of this program. Rebate Activity Reports: Dealers can use the Reports feature at to view Rebate Activity Reports. The report updates are provided on a daily basis indicating the previous day s activity. This data is subject to change, however, any time during the promotion due to adjustment requests, product returns, etc Rebates Materials: Program materials for this promotion consist of consumer glossy sell-sheets and rebate claim forms. Bryant Bonus 3-ply rebate claim forms are required for each rebate claim. Claim forms for the Spring promotion can be ordered from your local Bryant distributor contact. If you are being auto enrolled for this Spring promo, you will be automatically sent a supply of forms. Rebate claim forms from previous Bryant Bonus promotions will not be accepted and should be discarded. 9

The ad templates shown, are available to download from dealerscanada.com and customize for your local use. Dealer Program Enrollment: To participate in the Bryant Bonus program, dealers should notify the distributor (Bryant Canada). In turn, the distributor will use HVACpartners.com to enroll the dealer in the promotion. Only registered dealers are eligible to participate in the Bryant Bonus promotion. Distributors may un-enroll a dealer from further participating in the program. If a dealer attempts to claim a reimbursement after the dealer un-enrollment date became effective, the Bryant Bonus Claim Center will reject the reimbursement claim. Upon enrollment, dealer will be sent a supply of consumer glossy brochures and rebate claim forms. Auto- Enrollment Note: If you participated in the Fall 2015 Bryant Bonus promotion and had claims go through, you do not have to re-enroll for this Spring 2016 promotion.
