15 Intrastate Mutual Aid Compact Mutual aid between parishes To provide and promotes mutual assistance among the parishes in the prevention of, response to, and recovery from, an emergency or disaster as defined in R.S. 29:723, occurring in a parish, or any other even that exceeds a parish s capability or resources. 15
16 LMA Mutual Aid Agreement Provides LMA members the ability to enter into a mutual aid with other municipalities to assist with responding to and recovering from an emergency especially the first 72 hours. Municipalities are able to seek recovery resources such as material, personnel, and equipment. 16

20 Documentation FEMA Definition Documentation is the process of establishing and maintaining accurate records of events and expenditures related to your disaster recovery work. And describes the "who, what, when, where, why, and how much" for each item of disaster recovery work. 20
