4 Learning, Service, Renewal 846 Massachusetts Avenue, Suite 1a Arlington, MA phone: PROGRAM CONDITIONS Included in the Price ($3,646) of the Program: Round trip airfare from gateway city (Chicago); lodging; breakfast daily and 2 dinners as per the itinerary; ground transportation during the program and entrance fees for sites on the course outline unless otherwise noted in the itinerary; instruction/lectures/guiding; airport and departure taxes; facilities and security fees; tips for porters, maids and waiters at hotels; administrative fees. The price is based on 26 people in the group. If the group is smaller than this, a surcharge may be assessed. Program price does not include: Transfers to, from or between domestic (U.S.) airports; optional costs such as single room supplements and travel insurance; personal expenses such as laundry; individual travel arrangements; beverages at meals; lunches; six dinners; excess baggage fees; tips for bus drivers and guides (variable, about $5-$10 per person per day); passports and foreign visas; airline baggage fees or fees and surcharges imposed after the time of registration. Registration and Payment: Full payment must be made 90 days prior to departure, (_10 April 2018_). A late fee of $100 will apply thereafter. A $75 price reduction will be applied to your account if you register by 1 May A $50 price reduction will be applied to your account if you register by 9 July The Society for Biblical Studies does accept credit cards. All quoted prices reflect a discount of 3.9% for cash/check payment. The registrant s canceled check is his/her receipt. Those wishing to have individual, periodic account statements will be charged a $100 administration fee. Passports and Visas: Each person must procure a passport valid for six months after your return. Those without US citizenship are responsible for proper re-entry documentation. All passengers must submit to The Society for Biblical Studies copies of their travel documents not later than 45 days prior to departure. Lodging: The price is based on double occupancy. Single occupancy is available at a supplemental cost ($519, 8-day, $396, 4-day). Registrants can stipulate roommate preferences in the registration form. If an odd number of registrations requires an unrequested (forced) single room to be assigned, the single room will be assigned to the latest person to register and a single room supplement will apply. Luggage: The per person limit is one suitcase and one carry on bag. Airlines sometimes impose additional limits. Airline ticketing: Reservations are non-refundable once ticketed. Travel is in jet economy class aboard IATAN and ARC carriers only. Flight times and routing are subject to change by the airlines. Such changes may result in additional costs and charges. The Society for Biblical Studies is not responsible for such changes or delays and cannot reimburse expenses resulting from them. The Society for Biblical Studies does not recommend the purchase of budget tickets for domestic airline connections. Domestic add-ons: Feeder service with domestic airlines from U.S. cities other than the gateway city that connect with the international flight is sometimes available. The additional charges vary. The cost quoted for the add-on does not include transfers between airports and is subject to change by the airlines. Anyone who would like to purchase the domestic add-on must indicate so on the registration form. Cancellation conditions: The Society for Biblical Studies will make every effort to recuperate program payments in the event of cancellation. However, our ability to do so is sometimes limited to the following schedule: From the day of registration to 70 days prior to departure, a full refund of the deposit will be made less a $85 administration fee and any airline penalties.
