4 REGIONAL AFFORDABLE HOUSING CONFERENCE CONTRACT Trade Show May 23, 2012 Hilton Garden Inn Toledo Perrysburg 6165 Levis Commons Blvd., Perrysburg, OH CONTRACT FOR EXHIBIT SPACE and/or SPONSORSHIPS You are hereby requested and authorized to reserve exhibit space as indicated below for our use in the Trade Show during the 2012 at the Hilton Garden Inn Toledo Perrysburg in Perrysburg, Ohio, on May 22 and 23, Spaces are skirted tabletops sized 6 long; space rental is $350 for MAHMA members and $500 for non-members. I wish to rent spaces. I understand that after MAHMA receives my signed contract and payment, I will have the opportunity to choose by exhibiting space(s) but am not necessarily guaranteed my first choice. I am a MAHMA member I am not a MAHMA member. Sponsorships are available to both members and non-members. Available sponsorships are outlined on the previous page. If you wish to purchase a sponsorship, please indicate said sponsorship(s):. Enclosed is our check or credit card payment in the amount of $ for the exhibit space and/or sponsorship(s) indicated above. We understand that this rate includes the use of the space on May 23, 2012; one sign and two trade show registrations per space with others admitted upon payment of a $150 fee per person, for up to two additional people, with a maximum of four people per space; as well as everything included in any purchased sponsorship. Pro-forma invoice available; contact the MAHMA office for this option. Payment for space: Full payment for exhibit space and/or sponsorship(s) must be made by 5/1/2012. If full payment is not received by 5/1/2012, MAHMA shall have the right to consider this contract terminated and to retain as liquidation damages all monies paid and to lease space so reserved to another exhibitor. If exhibitor has made payment in full and notifies MAHMA at least 10 business days prior to the opening of the show that it will be unable to exhibit, exhibitor may be refunded all monies paid, less $100 per space, which shall be retained by MAHMA as liquidation damages. MAHMA reserves the right to cancel this contract, should exhibitor disregard any rules or regulations of the show or for other due cause. In the event MAHMA shall enforce such right, all monies paid by exhibitor shall be retained by MAHMA as liquidation damages. Exhibitor assumes entire responsibility and hereby agrees to protect, identify, defend and hold Hilton Garden Inn Toledo Perrysburg and its employees and agents harmless against all claims, losses and damages to persons or property, governmental charges or finds and attorney fees arising out of or caused by exhibitor s installation, removal maintenance, occupancy or use of the exhibition premises or a part thereof, excluding any such liability caused by the sole negligence of the Hilton Garden Inn Toledo Perrysburg and its employees and agents. In addition, exhibitor acknowledges that Hilton Garden Inn Toledo Perrysburg does not maintain insurance covering the exhibitor s property and that it is the sole responsibility of the exhibitor to obtain business interruption and property damage insurance covering such losses by the exhibitor. We hereby agree that all handouts and giveaways and other advertising material distributed by us during this conference shall be received at least 7 business days prior to the conference and subject to the approval of MAHMA. We have read and accepted all rules and regulations of MAHMA presented in this contract and we agree to comply with them. It is understood and agreed that in case MAHMA shall fail to open the trade show, or to furnish space to us, it will refund to us all sums paid under this contract.
