Those samples used for assessment in groups, e.g. drop testing, were not identified. Specimens were selected at random from the submission(s) detailed above. Testing was performed in accordance with EN : 2002 unless otherwise specified below. Reference should be made to the standard when reading this report. Unless stated otherwise, specimens were tested in the condition as received by INSPEC. The Client requested testing to clause only, no other clauses were assessed At the request of the client, testing to the requirements of clause was not performed prior to assessment of clause The client requested that testing be performed using a 50:50 split of the corded and uncorded earplugs. At the request of the client, a limited panel of 8 subjects was used. H, M, L and SNR values have been calculated, in accordance with EN ISO :1995, based on the 8 subjects tested and the results included in this report for information only.

The uncertainty value is based on a standard uncertainty multiplied by a coverage factor k = 2, which provides for a confidence level of approximately 95%. Values expressed as a percentage (%) are relative. It should be noted that the above values have not been taken into account when making assessment to the pass/fail criteria.
