42 Conclusion 41 41

43 Conclusions Specific issues aside, these survey results suggest that residents particularly older residents and longer-term residents feel very positive about life in Citrus Heights. That being said, they would like to see more done to address local economic challenges especially anything that generates jobs and improved street maintenance. Though residents feel less safe, in general, those concerns aren t specific and they feel very satisfied with public safety services. While there s an overall sense that the City could use additional revenue and that the City manages its budget well it s not a strongly held perception. These results underscore the challenges of passing finance measure this fall that requires a two-thirds vote. 42
