CHIKHALDARA The validity of DD shall be for 3 months from the last date of submission of tender. The MICR and IFC code of the issuing bank shall be printed on the DD If the tender offer quoted more than 10 % below the tendered amount, then performance security shall be 1% plus the percentage by which tender offer is more than 10% below, of estimated amount put to tender. (Eg.: If the quoted amount is 14% below ten the performance security shall be 1 % plus 4% (=14%-10%), total of 5% of estimated amount put on tender) The original DD in sealed envelope with the name of work and tender number written on envelop shall be submitted to the SARPANCH / SACHIV GRAM PANCHAYAT HATRU PAYABLE AT. In all other cases earnest money will be refundable. 18) Examination of drawing and site condition:- The Tenderer shall in his own interest carefully examine the drawing condition of contract specifications etc. He shall also inspect the site and shall acquaint himself about the climate, physical and all other conditions prevailing at site the nature, magnitude, special features, practicability of the works all existing and required means of communications and access to site, availability of housing and other facilities, the availability of labor and material, labor camp site, stores and go downs etc. He shall obtain all necessary information as to the risks, contingencies and other circumstances which may effect and influence the tender. claims on any of the above or any factors will be entertained by the Government, should there be any discrepancy, doubt or obscurity as to the meaning of any of the tender documents, or as to the instructions to be observed by him. He shall set forth in writing such discrepancy or doubt of obscurity and submit the same to the Executive Engineer. 19) The tender submitted by the tenderer shall remain valid for period of 90 days form the date opening of tenders. Also see para 2 General Rules etc. of contract form. 20) The contractor (s) whose tender is accepted is required to note that no foreign exchange will be released by the Department. 21) Tenders, which do not fulfill all or any of the conditions or are incomplete in any respect are liable to summary rejection. 22) Right to reject any or all tender without assigning, reasons there for is reserved.
