5 Lydia Hopps Senior Vice President Investment Management Consultant Financial Advisor Benjamin Hopps, CFP Vice President Investment Management Consultant Financial Advisor Donna Dobbin Senior Client Service Associate As the senior partner of the Hopps Group, Lydia Hopps leads her team in creating roadmaps to enduring security for her clients, allowing them to take care of their loved ones, meet their personal goals and leave a lasting legacy. Lydia s background reflects her wealth management style; it includes a combination of educational training and professional experience. She has spent the last 18 years working with clients to help them find a balance between financial security, health and quality of life. Before that, she spent the first part of her career as a teacher. She began working in her family business in her early teens. Lydia earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from California State College at Long Beach, and later her lifetime teaching credential from the University of California at Santa Barbara. Lydia is president of the Community Memorial Healthcare Foundation and on the Board of Trustees of the Community Memorial Healthcare System. She is also an active supporter of Casa Pacifica, Women s Economic Ventures, The Ventura Music Festival, Ventura Botanical Gardens, and The Museum of Ventura County Collector s Council. She has been married to her college sweetheart, Tom, for 43 years and has two sons, Ben and Daniel, and two grandchildren, Phoebe and Jacob. Benjamin Hopps uses his analytical skills and financial training to help clients address their needs, particularly in the areas of capital preservation, liquidity, access to lending services, cash management and investments. Ben has spent the last 12 years working at Morgan Stanley. Prior to that, he worked as a mechanical engineer in the aerospace industry, helping plan and execute rocket launches, among other things. He earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic University San Luis Obispo, and later received his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER TM from American College. Ben is passionately involved in his community. He is a board member on both the Starkey Hearing Foundation and the Topa Tower Club. He also is a supporter of Casa Pacifica. Ben and his wife Sandra attended Buena High School together and have been married for 14 years. They live in Ventura with their two young children, Phoebe and Jacob. Ben is an avid surfer, an accomplished sailor, and has recently taken up golf. benjamin.hopps@morganstanley.com Service with a smile embodies Donna Dobbin s commitment and dedication to clients as the Senior Client Service Associate with the Hopps Group. On a daily basis, she cheerfully greets our clients and with her 16 years of professional experience answers client questions, handles operational issues and retrieves client-requested data. She is great at listening to our clients and executing what they need done. Donna began her career at Morgan Stanley in July 1998 as a Client Service Associate. In May 2005, Donna was promoted to Branch Service Manager and also earned the title of Associate Vice President. In 2010, she then transitioned into the position of Branch Administrative Assistant. While her career track was rewarding, she found that she missed working directly with clients to service their individual needs. In order to get back to what she does best and loves the most, she joined the Hopps Group in 2012 as the Senior Client Service Associate.
