1 BHARAT PETROLEUM CORPORATION LIMITED REF : ER/NRL/POL/TRANSPORT NOTICE INVITING FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST(EOI) FROM EXISTING AND PROSPECTIVE TRANSPORTERS FOR PLACING TANKLORRY REQUIRED FOR ROAD TRANSPORTATION OF BULK PETROLEUM PRODUCTS ON ADHOC BASIS FROM NRL (ASSAM) LOCATION TO Industrial & Commercial CUSTOMERS IN ARUNACHAL PRADESH BHARAT PETROLEUM CORPORATION LIMITED (BPCL), a public sector undertaking, invites sealed EOI (Expression of Interest) from prospective Transporters desirous of offering Tank Lorry requirement having 6/9 KL capacity for road transportation of bulk petroleum products like MS/HSD/SKO etc. to our Industrial & Commercial customers in the state of Arunachal Pradesh to be loaded ex our Numaligarh Dispatch Unit for a period of eight months with effect from with a provision for further extension. The applicants have to submit EOIs as per format with all documents. BPCL will initiate further process of selection of eligible Transporters, who will be shortlisted as per the terms of EOIs available at our above location. Please note that this placement will be purely on ad-hoc basis and exclusively for the purpose of supplying Petroleum products from NRL DU to BPCL I&C customers at Dahung, Tawang and Bomdir only and BPCL reserves the right to accept or reject any application and terminate the ad-hoc agreement as and when required as per the business requirement of BPCL and to be governed by the terms of the transport agreement. These adhoc T/Ls will be taken upto with a provision to further extension upto While quoting for additional tank lorries against above offer, following points should be taken note of carefully : 1. All tank lorries should have complied with the PFS & Safety fittings including Internal & External fittings in line with BPCL standards/requirements. 1

2 2. The tank lorry crew should be provided with the required Uniform & PPE (Personal Protective Equipments), like safety shoes, safety helmets etc and with police verifications. 3. Tank lorries will be taken on first cum first serve basis of the applications. Decision of BPCL to this effect shall be final. 4. In case of any of the tank lorry offered as above is found later to be presently under Transport Contract with other Oil Companies, NOC must be produced by the concerned transporter from the respective Oil Company for utilizing their enlisted Tank Lorry at BPCL. 5. The tank lorries offered must meet all QC requirements as per standards of the Corporation. 6. The tank lorries offered should not have been blacklisted by any of the Oil Company at any place in India. Any TLs thus offered if subsequently found to have been blacklisted by any oil company anywhere in India, would be subject to strict disciplinary action as deemed fit by the management. 7. The above offer would be governed by all the terms & conditions of the existing Transport Contract ex Numaligarh Refinery (BPCL Despatch unit) without any guaranteed mileage by BPCL. The rate for the hilly sector shall be Rs.4.16 per kl per km. 8. The Tank Lorries should be physically made available at Numaligarh Refinery BPCL office by This placement will be purely on ad-hoc basis and BPCL reserves right to accept or reject any application and terminate the ad-hoc agreement as and when required as per the business requirement of the Corporation. No guaranteed mileage will be given by BPCL. If the quoted adhoc T/L is an attached T/L, then an affidavit as per format need to be submitted by the owner of T/L attaching the T/L with the Transporter having signed valid contract with BPCL. Preference will be given to own T/Ls. The sealed offer should reach this office within 30 days of publication of this notice at following address before close of office hours. The format of application may also be collected from the under noted office address. The eligible applicants will be considered on first-come-first-served basis.
