Scope of job 1. Preparation of drawings, getting approval, completion report, arranging inspection and obtaining Safety Certificate from CEA for commissioning. Liasion with the CEA for the following equipment: 1) 11 kv HT VCB Panel -4 Nos (new) (1 No- Inocomer & 3 Nos- Outgoing) 2) 500KVA DG Set- 1 No (new) 3) Addition in PCC Panel (1 No AMF Panel) 2. TNEB Coordination charges for above works as deemed necessary. 3. Providing of As-Built drawings, (2 set of soft copies in CD and 2 sets of prints to Client ) -Electrical drawings only. The above are the broad scope of work. However, the tenderer are requested to visit the factory to ascertain the quantum of job. All the incidental charges involved in the above jobs are to be borne by the tenderer and the same to be included in the offer. All the statutory payments which are to be paid to the concerned Department would be borne by us. However the tenderers have to assist in making the payment to the Department. The manpower required for the above job is to the scope of the tenderer. Prequailification Requirement: Party should have 1. Service Tax registration; 2. PAN No., 3. PF 4. ESI No. 5. The tenderer has to be EA Grade license holder from TNEB and should provide suitable trained manpower for carrying out the above job (Copy of the EA grade license to be enclosed in your offer). 2 The offer will be rejected in the absence of the above registrations, EA grade license. Relevant certificate copies should be submitted as hard copies. Your offer should be given in enclosed bid form in Annexure-2 duly signed with company seal with a covering note in your letter head. The details of the contractor to be provided in Annexure- 2. Your offer should be valid for a minimum period of 60 days for our acceptance from the due date for submission of tender. The company reserves the right to reject any or all offers. The prices should be firm till the completion of order. Completion of Job: 60 days from the date of issue of service order/loi. LD Clause: For delay beyond committed schedule, LD will be on total order value subject to max 5% on total basic value. The bids of any tenderers may be rejected if a conflict of interest between the tenderer and the Company is detected at any stage Statutory Obligations: The Contractor on award of contract shall ensure compliance with all relevant statutory provisions under the relevant labour laws viz. Factories Act, Payment of wages Act, Minimum Wages Act (notified by Ministry of Labour, Government of India), Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act, ESI (Employees State Insurance) Act, Workmen's Compensation Act, Employees Provident Fund and Miscellaneous Provisions Act (EPF & MP Act), Payment of Bonus Act and other applicable labour enactments as amended from time to time in respect of personnel deployed by him in company's premises for the above job The Contractors personnel shall comply with all safety regulations of BL including wearing of safety shoes, Helmets, safety belts for work above 1.5 mtr elevation etc., The Contractor shall be solely responsible for all matters, including safety, welfare and disciplined, in respect of personnel deployed by him in the company's premises and shall keep the company indemnified thereof. Arbitration Clause: Any dispute or difference arising under this Contract shall be referred under jurisdiction of Chennai to a sole arbitrator to be appointed by the Chairman & Managing Director, Balmer Lawrie & Co. Limited and the provisions of Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 including any statutory modifications or enactment thereof shall apply to the Arbitration proceedings. The fees of the arbitrator, if any, shall be shared equally by both the parties. The award shall be a speaking award stating reason therefor and is final and binding on the parties. The proceeding shall be conducted in English language and courts at Chennai will have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute arising out of this contract Visit to our factory: The tenderer, at the tenderer's own cost/responsibility is advised to visit our factory between 9.30 am to 4.30 pm on all working days and examine the Site of Work and its surroundings and obtain all information that may be necessary for preparing the Tender for entering into a contract, for the above work. (Contact Person: Mr. Doss ) Payment terms: 100% upon completion of Jobs as per the scope of the job and submission of approvals from CEA along with certified bill within 30 days from the date of submission. 3 However the tenderers may mention their payment terms and offers seeking advance payment terms would not be accepted. Award of contract: a. The contract will be awarded for the lowest quoted tenderer of based on the estimates provided in the bid form, Annexure-1 b. 100% order will be placed on the L1 quoted tenderer c. If required, the Company would carry out negotiation, only with the lowest quoted tenderer and it would be in the interest of the tenderers to give their most competitive rates. Terms if any not specified in offer will be considered as per our tender only.
