INTRODUCTION: Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation Limited also referred to as the MPSTDC or Authority, is a nodal agency under Department of Tourism, Government of Madhya Pradesh with a mandate to develop tourism infrastructure in the State of Madhya Pradesh. MPSTDC is also operating various hotels and tourist complexes in the State for providing boarding & lodging facilities to the tourists. 2. PROPOSED PROJECT: M.P. State Tourism Development Corporation Ltd. intents to promote Jehangir Mahal, Orchha as wedding destination of Madhya Pradesh. The Event Management Agencies / Wedding Planners are invited to explore and promote the heritage value of this historic city. 3. QUALIFYING CRITERIA & PROCEDURE FOR REGISTRATION The companies fulfilling the following minimum qualifying criteria will be able to use this venue for theme weddings. 1. The company must either be exclusively an Event Management Agency / Wedding Planner wedding planner company or a company having exclusively defined event management division for weddings within the company. 2. The minimum average annual turnover for last 3 years ( , , ) of the company should be Rs. 50 Lakhs. The turnover of event management division (inclusion of details of turnover of decorations and transport or any other activity being done by the company shall not be accepted) should be reflected in balance sheet/billing details certified by the chartered accountant. In case this turnover is not reflected separately in the balance sheet, a certificate in respect of the turnover by the chartered accountant of the company should be enclosed. Incase year if the audited balance sheet are not available provisional certificate from CA is required. 3. The minimum net worth as on 31/03/2016 of the company should be Rs. 10 Lakhs. 4. The company must have work experience of at least 5 years in Event Management / Wedding Planners. 5. The company must have managed 5 exclusive Destination Weddings (involved expenditure of minimum Rs. 20 Lakhs in each project) in last three years. 6. Registration with Event and Entertainment Management Association (EEMA). 2

3 7. The company must have a proper team which includes Transport, Hospitality, F&B, Production Decoration and Electrical. 8. No consortium / joint venture shall be considered. 9. All the proposals received will be scrutinized to assess their eligibility based on the qualifying criteria. Those proposals which do not meet the qualifying criteria will be rejected. 4. TOTAL DURATION OF SERVICE Initially the registration shall be for a period of Two years and may be extendable for further year to year basis on satisfactory performance. 5. VENUE Open space within Jehangir Mahal inside Orchha Fort as wedding destination. 6. AVAILABILITY OF DOCUMENT The documents along with criteria can be downloaded online from website 7. TERMS AND CONDITIONS 1. Agreement for each event will be executed by the agency. 2. The agreement is for a period of maximum 2 days or till the completion of event whichever is earlier. 3. The agency will sign an agreement before the execution of each event and comply strictly with the terms & conditions. (The format of agreement is attached) 4. The charges for the registration will be Rs. 5000/- for first Two years and Rs. 2000/- for each next year. 5. The charges for the venue will be Rs. 50,000/- per day (From 10 AM to 10 AM) + Taxes on first come first basis. 6. The agency will also have to deposit Rs. 1, 00,000/- as a security in favour of M.P. Heritage Development Trust. 7. Incomplete and/or illegible submissions shall be rejected. 8. MPSTDC reserves its rights to accept or reject any or all of the submissions without assigning any reasons whatsoever. 9. In case of any dispute, the matter shall be resolved by arbitration with a sole arbitrator being appointed by the Managing Director, MPSTDC. 10.
