3 SAINT JAMES WAY IN LLEIDA. Medieval flavours is a proposal for experience tourism by the Diocesan and District Museum of Lleida, promoted by the Cultural Heritage Agency of Catalonia, part of the Regional Government of Catalonia, under the brand name The thrill of heritage. The activity is offered in the town of Lleida, located 90 minutes away from Barcelona. This proposal leads us to retake the way that pilgrims took when they were going to Santiago de Compostela, when they passed through Lleida. It also offers a unique visit to the Museum of Lleida, focusing on the various works of art which are exhibited there and which have as their theme the iconography of the pilgrims. This visit will reveal the services that the pilgrims received and also the meaning of each and every aspect of their clothing. Duration: Approx. four hours (from 10:00 to 14:00) Meeting point: Old Bridge (in front of the entrance to the Camps Elisis) The proposal Guided visit: Tour of the historical centre of Lleida, crossing the Old Bridge, and passing through the Arc del Pont, the Paeria, the Old Hospital of Santa Maria, the Chapel of Peu Romeu and the street called Carrer de Cavallers. Churches of Saint Llorenç and Saint Martin. The Old Cathedral of Lleida: Chapel of Saint James, Cloister, Pia Almoina, and the Reliquary of Saint Drap. Diocesan and District Museum of Lleida: Tour of the iconography dedicated to pilgrims. Activity/experience: Relive the various routes that the medieval pilgrims followed on their way to Saint James, passing through Lleida, and learn about the reasons for their pilgrimage. Discover the meaning of each and every item that the pilgrims wore or carried as they are put on a volunteer from the group of visitors. Decipher all the information that a painting or a sculpture provides us with on the period and the topic. 4 Availability First Saturday of each month Any day of the week if you book in advance (minimum 7 days) for groups of at least 10 adults and a maximum of 25 Languages: Catalan Spanish English French Rates: The retail price of the tickets is: 25 These rates include commission for intermediary sales channels The price includes: A guided visit for the abovementioned tour, from the Old Bridge to the Old Cathedral; the churches of Saint Martin and Saint Llorenç and the Museum of Lleida. Optional: Lunch of the three cultures. A medieval menu of Christian, Muslim and Jewish cultural cuisine. 5 Bookings and payment For individual places on programmed dates: Once the availability of places has been confirmed, the total cost should be transferred to the following bank account: ES The account holder is MUSEU DE LLEIDA: DIOCESÀ I COMARCAL (VAT No. Q D) C/ Saint Crist, 1, Lleida The booking is not firm until payment has been made. For private group bookings: Once the date requested by the group has been confirmed, the cost should be transferred as follows: 30% of the total on making the booking. No booking is firm without the corresponding payment. The other 70% at least 10 days before the date booked. 100% for bookings made less than 10 days before the date booked. Deadline for booking: Bookings can be made up to 72 hours before the date requested, subject to availability, which should always be consulted. In this case 100% of the booking should be paid on making the booking. For exclusive group bookings: 7 days prior to the desired date. Subject to availability which should be checked in advance. Cancellation and reimbursement: Written notification is required for total and partial cancellations of group bookings. If the cancellation or reduction in the group is notified more than 30 days before the date booked, 100% of the amount paid will be reimbursed (deposit or full payment). If the cancellation or reduction is notified between 10 and 30 days before the date booked, 50% of the amount paid will be reimbursed (deposit or full payment). If cancellations or changes are notified between 3 and 9 days before the date booked, 30% of the amount paid will be reimbursed (full payment). Nothing will be reimbursed for cancellations and changes made 72 hours or less from the date booked. Last minute places: Last minute places might be added to a group booking please ask about availability. These places cannot be considered as booked unless they are previously confirmed by the organization, and unless they have been fully paid before the date booked. The amount paid for places which for whatever reason are cancelled at the last minute will not be reimbursed.

6 Details: When the group is confirmed, a pro-forma invoice will be issued, showing the full amount payable for the booking, once the percentage for the commission agreed with the tour operator in question has been deducted. The amount corresponding to the firm booking (30% or 100%) will also be shown, when necessary, together with a bank account number to pay by transfer. The official invoice will then be issued, showing the definitive amounts to be paid. Any expenses for the payments, whether partial or total, shall be borne by the tour operator or intermediary agent. For each group, a roadmap should be sent including the name of the agency, where the group is coming from and the name of the group organizer with a contact telephone number.
