Hong Kong Dollar Savings Account Daily compound interest will automatically be paid to your account every month. Foreign Currency Savings Account Interest is calculated daily and paid to your account half-yearly. Time Deposits Guaranteed higher returns with different currency options to choose from. Your Consolidated Statement provides you an at-a-glance summary of all transactions, overdraft facilities and the total investment amount of your Securities and Investment Funds in your M.I. Kid AssetBuilder. If you are a personal account customer and use our credit card, mortgage loan, insurance plan, and maintain other integrated accounts, deposit accounts, credit facilities, investment accounts and/or MPF services with the Bank, the status updates of such services will also appear on the consolidated statement (applies only if the registered account opening identification document and document number of your accounts are the same as your M.I. 8 4 M.I. Kid AssetBuilder Card Your M.I. Kid AssetBuilder Card gives you 24-hour access to any 2 of your Hong Kong Dollar accounts, including your M.I. Kid AssetBuilder Savings Account, plus your other Hang Seng Bank Account. Automated Teller Machine (ATM) You can use your M.I. Kid AssetBuilder Card at over 1,000 ATMs of Hang Seng Bank and HSBC in Hong Kong, as well as at HSBC and UnionPay ATM networks all over the world to withdraw cash (1) and make transfers. You can also make use of the ATMs to transfer funds (2) between HSBC and Hang Seng Bank accounts and enjoy Bill Payment Service. Reset Phone PIN Reset the phone PIN of your account via any ATM of Hang Seng Bank in Hong Kong (only applicable to personal account customers). Simply follow a few easy steps after choosing Other services in the Main Menu. Quick Deposit Machine /Quick Cheque Deposit Machine/ Multi-function Automated Teller Machine Deposit cash/cheques at any Quick Deposit Machine /Quick Cheque Deposit Machine or Multi-function Automated Teller Machine and your Hong Kong Dollar Account(s) will be credited instantly. Easy Pay System (EPS) (3) Make payments through EPS terminals at participating retailers. Your account is debited directly and a receipt is issued by the EPS terminals. UnionPay Make transaction through UnionPay contact and contactless payment at the stores displaying the UnionPay logo and UnionPay QuickPass logo all over the world. (Daily limit is shared with EPS s (3) ). In addition to PIN verification, merchants may request Cardholder to sign the transaction slip for the contact payment (Signature must be identical to Cardholder s signature on the back of the card). Before making cash withdrawal transaction through the UnionPay ATM Network, customer is required to select the account type. If the selected account type has included more than one account in the ATM Card, cash will be withdrawn from the one with sufficient balance. However, some UnionPay ATM machines will provide the cash withdrawal only from the account with number embossed on the card face. Payment By Phone Service (PPS) With PPS, you can also settle Hang Seng Credit Card payments and many other payments. (1) Daily maximum cash withdrawal limit is HKD20,000 per Card. If you wish to use overseas ATM withdrawal service, you must activate the overseas ATM withdrawal function via ATM terminals of Hang Seng Bank and HSBC in Hong Kong, e-banking or Automated Phone Banking hotline. 9 Security tips regarding the ATM card and PIN Here are some important hints to help ensure the security of ATM Card and PIN: At all times take reasonable steps to keep your Card safe and PIN secret to prevent fraud. Upon receipt of your new/ reset PIN from us, immediately change your PIN at our ATM. Destroy your PIN advice and memorise the new PIN. Do not write down the PIN on your Card or on anything usually kept with or near it or record the PIN without disguising it. Never disclose your PIN to anyone, including our staff, nor let anyone else see your PIN when you are using an ATM or other electronic payment terminal. Always remember to remove your Card and advice after completing your transaction. If your Card or PIN is lost or stolen, you should report it immediately to our 24-hour Lost Card Hotline on To ensure immediate handling and maximum protection, please do not report your card loss by fax. Please refer to the security advice provided by us at our Security & Fraud Centre at hangseng.com from time to time. Warning: You may be held liable for all losses if you have acted fraudulently or with gross negligence, or failing to follow our fraud prevention advice set out above, and such failure has incurred losses. Do not allow anyone else to use your Card and PIN. The use of easily accessible personal information such as identity card number, phone number and date of birth as your PIN is NOT recommended.
