2 Financial Secretary s Report: February 2015 Bruce Gregg, , btgregg@earthlink.net 2/9/16 Council Meeting The 2016 Dues Cycle is in full swing. About 60% of members have paid to date and we have received quite a few donations from our Honorary Life members. Membership cards were distributed to those who have paid their dues following the meeting. Congratulations are extended to Bill Turner for having reached Honorary Life Membership status. We thank you for your many years of membership. The Supreme Council has provided us with a copy of their Actions on Resolutions from August This is available in the hall office for your reading pleasure. Bruce Gregg Council 4387 Financial Secretary R&R Meeting 2/9/16 - Knights of Columbus Our gathering started at 12:15 p.m. with the Rosary. There were 12 members present. The Kitchen Crew prepared a great meal of Lasagna, garlic toast, tator toots, and salad. The R&R meeting was opened by President Bill Aguirre at 1:15 p.m. with an Our Father. We received a thank you letter from Morning Glory Ministries for our $500 donation. In the absence of the Secretary, the minutes of the January meeting were not read. Jim Reed gave the Treasurer s report and it was approved. Bill gave a presentation on the upcoming Mouse Races to be held on 4/9/16. There were no reports from committees. President Bill Aguirre closed the meeting with 3 Hail Mary prayers in support for an end to abortion and 1 Hail Mary for our sick brother members. 3 Lenten Shrimp Dinners Mark your calendars now for the always anticipated Lenten Shrimp Dinners!!! The Bishop O Hara Corporation will be hosting the annual shrimp dinners on the following Fridays during Lent: February 12, February 26; and March 11. This leaves every other Friday for you to enjoy the other great Fish Dinners in the area. As always, your attendance is appreciated. Please bring your family and friends to these amazing events. 5 Plan for this Tax Day and into the Future April 15 (tax day) is right around the corner.
