10 Commuter Card The Commuter Card Plan enables you to buy your transit passes and tickets across the Tri-State area at almost 90 operators. Card is funded with payroll deductions on each pay date. A Personal Identification Number (PIN) is not required to use this card. When using the Commuter Card at a vending machine that accepts both credit and debit cards, be sure to choose Credit WageWorks Inc. All rights reserved. 10
11 Premium TransitChek MetroCard The Premium TransitChek MetroCard provides employees unlimited, local transit rides 365 days a year. Use the card for travel via the MTA NYC Transit subway, MTA NYC Transit local bus, MTA Staten Island Railway, NICE bus, or the Westchester Bee-Line local bus. Delivered directly to your home and ready to use no waiting in line at the MetroCard vending machine each month WageWorks Inc. All rights reserved. 11
12 Transit Pass Transit Pass Plan - have your transit passes mailed to your home. Pick from a catalog of transit providers and pass and ticket options. 13 Access-A-Ride/Paratransit The Access-A-Ride program covers other paratransit services in other transit agencies. These offerings are available under the Transit Pass plan and participants will have a Transit Account just like other participants enrolled in the Transit Pass Plan WageWorks Inc. 14 Park-N-Ride Park-N-Ride plan - if you pay to park at a transit station as part of your commute to work, you can save money on parking. You must be enrolled in a Transit benefit plan to enroll in the Park-N- Ride plan. With a variety of reimbursement options you can easily pay for your eligible parking expenses. 16 How Commuter Funding Works Pre-tax payroll elections will be deducted twice a month (four times if paid weekly). These funds will either go into your account or directly to your WageWorks Commuter Card based on your enrollment in the plan. Funds that go into your account will be used to pay for your transit and/or Park-N-Ride order for the following month. For example, deductions in July will be used to pay for your August 10 order for the September benefit month. If there are not sufficient funds in your account by the 10 th of the month, your order will not be processed. You will need to re-elect your pass again for the next month s order deadline WageWorks Inc. All rights reserved. 16
17 Commuter Card Timing Electing a Commuter Order Elect/Change Deduction Plan with the City by the end of June Payroll Deductions commence on the next available pay date Funding the benefit Payroll Deductions in July are loaded to your commuter card on your pay day. Access Your Funds Funds are available on your pay day. Receive your WageWorks Commuter Card within two weeks of making the election WageWorks Inc. All rights reserved. 17
