3 FSA Program Overview Healthcare Flexible Spending Account (FSA) A WageWorks Healthcare Flexible Spending Account (FSA) is a pre-tax benefit account used to pay for eligible medical, dental, and vision care expenses that aren t covered by an insurance plan Funds are withdrawn from each paycheck for deposit into a participant s account before taxes are deducted. The participant s total annual election amount is available on day one of your plan year Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (DC FSA) A WageWorks Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA) is a pre-tax benefit account used to pay for dependent care services, such as preschool, summer day camp, before or after school programs, and child or elder daycare Funds are withdrawn from each paycheck for deposit into the participants account before taxes are deducted. As soon as the account is funded, the participant can use their balance to pay for many eligible dependent care expenses Pretax Contributions Participants can contribute up to a maximum of $2,650 to their WageWorks Healthcare FSA Participants can contribute up to a maximum of $5,000 to their WageWorks Dependent Care FSA 2017 WageWorks Inc. 6 FSA Funding / Invoicing Funding Agreement Daily Funding Client will be responsible for maintaining the funding amount via daily replenishments. Client will make funds available in their designated bank account for WageWorks to ACH debit, please refer to your Funding Agreement. A Daily Funding Invoice will be sent daily. Funding reports are available daily, Monday through Friday, on the WageWorks Employer website the first business day of the calendar week. Funds are due the next business day, please refer to your Funding Agreement WageWorks Inc. All rights reserved. 6
7 FSA Funding / Invoicing The Admin Fees Invoice (monthly) is the amount due which includes implementation fees, reoccurring monthly service fees, fees for customized projects and participant service fees for all current WageWorks products (Commuter Programs, Flexible Spending Accounts, Health Savings Accounts, Health Reimbursement Accounts and Employee Sponsored Programs). Invoices are sent electronically on the 23 rd of the month. Payments are due based on what is stipulated in the Funding Agreement (i.e. Net 30) 2017 WageWorks Inc. All rights reserved. 7
