Offering benefits is one way GDMS can help protect you and your world. It s time again to explore your GDMS benefits as we move into our 2017 Annual Enrollment period. Please take a moment to: 1. Learn what s changing for Download the Healthy Rewards app if you haven t done so already. 3. Make sure you re making the most of the tools and resources offered by our Healthy Partners. Your Annual Enrollment Benefit Choices: Medical (including Prescription Drug) Dental Vision Health Savings Account (HSA) Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) Disability Insurance Life Insurance Critical Illness Insurance Accident Insurance Personal Purchased Time Off (PPTO) Identity Theft Protection Legal Services If you are on a leave of absence (LOA) or on Long-Term Disability (LTD), you may not be able to change your coverage for all benefits during Annual Enrollment. If you are on paid LOA or unpaid LOA with GD-sponsored medical benefits, you can access the Healthy Rewards app. Go to gdbenefits.com for more information. 3

5 Know your options What s new in 2018 Thank you for your responses to the employee engagement survey. This information helped us learn what is important to you. We re working hard to meet your needs and are proud to announce these two exciting additions to GDMS benefits. You ve asked, and we ve answered For the first time, we will now be offering parental leave for all new parents! Both mom and dad will be eligible for one week of paid parental leave and mom will get another week as a supplemental benefit to recover from childbirth. Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy will be a covered service under GDMS medical plans. We have joined several other GD business units to offer this unique, comprehensive therapy. We believe this early engagement approach can be life-changing for our affected families. 5

In response to employee feedback, we spent this last year interviewing replacements for our current Health, Dependent Care, and Commuter Flexible Spending Account vendor. We are happy to announce Wageworks will be the new administrator. WageWorks will bring new and exciting tools that will make managing your FSA easier than ever. Access your account at wageworks.com or by using the new WageWorks mobile app Submit photos of your receipts via the WageWorks app 24/7 access to your account via computer, tablet or phone. Spend unused funds in the FSA Store Add funds directly to your SmarTrip or MBTA Metro cards 6
7 Know your options What s changing in 2018 GDMS remains committed to paying at least 80% of your healthcare premium. In 2018, GDMS will spend over $100 million providing important benefits to you and your family. However, rising drug cost have caused some increases. In 2018, you will see: An increase in your portion of the healthcare premium (averaging 3.7%) For the first time since 2013, PHA Annual Deductibles and Out-of-pocket maximums In Network may increase up to $200 Out-of-Network up to $400 We appreciate you and your family taking advantage of the no-cost preventive care through our medical plans, it has helped keep us at or below the national trend. 7

10 Know your options What s changing in 2018 Healthy Partners expand their reach Not enrolled in a GD medical plan? Now you can still participate in Healthy Rewards! Starting on January 1, download the Healthy Rewards app powered by Jiff to track your healthy activities (fitness activities, nutrition and sleep) and participate in wellness challenges. New dermatology care through MDLIVE* Starting in 2018, you can access MDLIVE s national network of boardcertified dermatologists anytime via your phone, tablet or computer to diagnose and treat most skin, hair and nail conditions without waiting for an appointment. New opportunity to access support from Omada If you are at risk for diabetes or heart disease, Omada has broadened its qualification criteria for support. If you did not qualify last year, consider taking assessment again in *The cost is just $59 until you reach your ; other visits for non-emergency issues such as fever or allergies remain at $38 before. Ovia Health s new parenting support tool helps you with your most important job Starting on January 1, you can access Ovia Health s new parenting app to help you track and celebrate your children s milestones and development. Get in shape and eat healthy with the 7-Minute Workout and Yo-Fi Wellness apps Download free online workout and recipe videos through the Healthy Rewards app. Even if you are not enrolled in a GD medical plan, you can still download the videos and get healthy! 10
11 Know your options What s changing in 2018 Prim has merged with Walgreens Mail Service As of September 30, 2017, Prime Therapeutics Prim prescriptions are now filled by Walgreens Mail Service. What you need to know: There will be no change to the service phone numbers or hours of operation You ll continue to receive refill reminders If you re prescribed Specialty Drugs, you may need to validate your personal or medical information, resubmit a HIPAA authorization form, and provide your credit card information when filling your next prescription (to protect your financial data, Prim did not move your credit card information) The website for accessing your mail order prescription drug information has changed: Walgreens.com/ Prim 11
12 Know your options What s changing in 2018 GDMS protects you and your world through FREE income protection benefits such as Basic Life, Basic AD&D, and Business Travel Accident. You may also want to expand these benefits by electing supplemental coverage. New rates for life insurance and disability 2018 rates for Spouse or Child Life Insurance, Long-Term Disability Insurance Buy Up, and Employee Supplemental, Spouse or Child AD&D are increasing. As a reminder, those benefit costs are based on your own age and salary and may adjust automatically each year. Log onto gdbenefits.com to see rates for 2018 and learn more about your voluntary benefits Still not enrolled in Critical Illness or Accident Insurance? If you enroll during Annual Enrollment this year, you won t need to provide evidence of good health. This will be the last year the evidence of good health requirement will be waived. Download the free Jiff app on your smartphone from the Google Play or Apple App Store, or visit the Jiff website at on any device. 2. Register your account by entering Wellness as your token. 3. Enter your date of birth (MM-DD-YYYY) and last name to verify your identity. 4. Provide your preferred address and select a password. It s that easy! I started tracking my food just for points on the Jiff app but I soon realized how bad the food was that I was eating. I had no idea how many calories that I took in each day. I have made some changes to what I eat on a daily basis GDMS employee 16

28 Take action How to Enroll When you re ready to enroll, go to gdbenefits.com Don t forget that your Fidelity log-in information for your health care is the same as the username and password for your General Dynamics 401(k) retirement plan account. If you do nothing With the exception of your HSA, FSA or Commuter Account, your current 2017 elections will remain in place for GDMS strongly encourages all employees to actively participate in Annual Enrollment. Enroll between November 15 and December 11 You may be prompted to complete Evidence of Insurability (EOI) based on the life insurance coverage(s) you elect. If you prefer not to complete EOI online, a form will be mailed to you. You must complete and return the form to the insurance company within the timeframe provided or you will receive the maximum coverage allowed under the plan without EOI. 28
