Register for free on the website, on any of the affiliated in-store terminals or via our user-friendly mobile application. When shopping at a Lifestyle Partner Store earning and burning your Lifestyle Rands (LR1 = 1ZAR) is simple. All you are required to do is enter your mobile number or swipe your card and enter your 5-digit PIN. 2

6 Full Spend of Rewards Full Spend when a customer pays the total amount of the purchase with their Lifestyle Rands Full Spend Press F/menu Select Legacy Lifestyle Select Full Spend SWIPE member s Lifestyle card or enter member s CELLPHONE NUMBER Enter the total amount of the PURCHASE Confirm the total amount of the PURCHASE Enter Proof of Purchase number (receipt/bill number) Member enters their 5 digit PIN Member rates the service from 1 to 5 6

7 Part Spend of Rewards Part Spend when a customer pays PART of the total amount with their Lifestyle Rands and the outstanding amount with either cash or card. Part Spend Press F/menu Select Legacy Lifestyle Select Part Spend SWIPE member s Lifestyle card or enter member s CELLPHONE NUMBER Enter the total amount of the PURCHASE Enter the spend amount (how many Lifestyle Rands the member is spending) Confirm the outstanding amount (the amount that still needs to be paid) Enter Proof of Purchase number (receipt/bill number) Select payment method of outstanding amount Member enters their 5 digit PIN Member rates the service from 1 to 5 7

13 Liberty Legacy Lifestyle and Liberty have partnered to create Liberty Rewards. This is an incredible opportunity for both members and also Lifestyle Brand Partners. Liberty Rewards members will be issued with Liberty Rewards co-branded cards. 18 FAQS Will I receive spam SMS or s? No, you will not receive any SMS s or s if you uncheck the tick boxes when registering. However, if you would like to receive SMS s or s, you will not receive anything that would not be of interest to yourself. This is regulated by an interest list on your personal profile, as well as which partner stores you transact with. Do I lose the benefits of other existing programmes that I am a part of? No, because Legacy Lifestyle is not linked to any bank, members are able to carry on earning rewards with existing programs linked to their credit cards. What % of Lifestyle Rands do I earn on a transaction? Lifestyle Rands earned varies from partner to partner depending on the particular service offering. Can I use Lifestyle Rands for items on sale? This is at the partners discretion. Please ask the partner before concluding the sale to avoid disappointment. As a Lifestyle member am I taxed on the Lifestyle Rands I earn? No. Lifestyle Rands are tax free. 18

19 Can I return something that was bought with Lifestyle Rands? Yes, members are able to exchange a product and reclaim their Lifestyle Rands. However, returns are subject to the policies of the respective partner stores, and can only happen within 30 days from the date of purchase. What happens if I forget my security PIN? You can change your pin in store, (revert to page 9) or you could simply log onto the Legacy Lifestyle website ( and click the Forgot Your PIN tab. How do I check my Lifestyle Rands balance? Login to your account and view your balance from the My Account page. Alternatively, your balance can be checked on any of the Legacy Lifestyle in-store terminals. How long after the transaction does it take for my Lifestyle Rands to become active? Lifestyle Rands will appear in your account as pending immediately, but may take 30 days to be ready for use. Can I extend my Lifestyle Rands to a later date before they expire? No, all unused points will be forfeited 36 months after the date on which they were earned. 19

20 Where can I see a list of Legacy Lifestyle partners? Visit and click on the category you wish to explore. Do I need my Legacy Lifestyle membership card when earning/redeeming Legacy Rands? No, all you need is your cell phone number and your 5 Digit PIN code. In this way, there is no need to change your existing transacting habits, and you can always reap the rewards of being a Lifestyle member. The pin code is your self-nominated, 5-digit Legacy Lifestyle PIN and is not your phone/sim PIN code. If I swipe my Lifestyle card and I get the error message Member not registered what should I do? Revert to the Activate Card transaction option on pg. 8 or use the customers cellphone number instead of the card. What do I do if I lose my Legacy Lifestyle card? Your Legacy Lifestyle card is not needed to earn or burn Legacy Rands. However, if you wish to order a replacement card you may do so by contacting us on: info@legacylifestyle.co.za Call Centre: Please note, replacement cards will be charged at R50. 20

21 Do I have to pay any administrative costs? Yes, Legacy Lifestyle will only charge 20% of rewards as an administrative fee, when they are earned. Similarly, Legacy Lifestyle will charge 3 Lifestyle Rands to the member when they redeem. There are no joining, membership, or annual costs. How do I change my personal details? Logon to and login to your account and click the Update Personal Information button from the My Account page. Can I allow someone else to use my Lifestyle Rands? Yes, you may transfer your Lifestyle Rands to anybody who is a Lifestyle member by calling the call centre on Transfers can only be processed from one completed account to another and may take up to 48 hours to reflect in the recipients account. Please note that a 10% transfer fee will apply. Can I use my Lifestyle Rands outside of South Africa? Yes, as long as the store/hotel is an affiliate. You will see the Legacy Lifestyle logo in the store window. 21
