20 Annual Dependent Eligibility - Dental As in past years, National Grid has teamed up with HMS Employer Solutions, an independent cost containment firm, to complete the annual Dependent Eligibility Verification Program. The purpose of this program is to ensure that each dependent enrolled in National Grid s dental plan are accurately listed and eligible for coverage. What do you need to know today? Our records indicate that you have one or more dependents age 19, as of 12/31/2018, or older enrolled in National Grid s dental plan. Therefore, you will be receiving a letter addressed to your home from HMS Employer Solutions. The letter details the steps and information required to keep coverage for your enrolled dependents. What documentation will you be required to provide? You will need to provide the Fall 2018 school schedule for your dependents age 19 or older enrolled in your dental plan. You will submit copies of the required documentation directly to HMS Employer Solutions. Please note that the letter from HMS Employer Solutions may not include names of all your enrolled dependents, as this dependent verification is being conducted only for full time students. What will happen if you do not comply with the instructions in the HMS dependent verification letter? It is important that you comply with the information contained in the letter to keep coverage for your enrolled dependents. If you do not comply, National Grid will assume that your dependent(s) is/are not eligible to be covered and will be removed from your dental coverage effective December 31, Should you have any questions, please contact the Services Delivery Center at Thank you for your cooperation in complying with this important initiative.
