Bordonaro Portfolio Management Director Senior Vice President Financial Advisor As the team s senior advisor, Paul brings the knowledge and experience that comes with a 38-year career as a Financial Advisor. He firmly believes in building long-term relationships and delivering exceptional client service. As a seasoned professional, Paul knows what it takes to navigate individuals and families through various market conditions. An attorney by education, Paul has a unique perspective when it comes to complex planning and cooperating with attorneys, accountants and other professionals. He is a life-long resident of Edina, MN with his wife, Jan. They have three adult daughters and recently became grandparents. Robert J. Hannah, CFP Senior Portfolio Manager Associate Vice President Financial Advisor Bob has more than 12 years of experience as a Financial Advisor. He began his career with Piper Jaffray where he joined Paul and Carol. Bob earned a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN. As a Certified Financial Planner (CFP ) certificant, Bob uses this background and knowledge when developing cash flow analyses, retirement and education planning strategies for clients. He enjoys the relationships he has developed with clients over the years, along with the more analytical components of his career. Bob and his wife, Emmy, stay active raising their twin boys, biking, running and traveling. Carol J. Brundieck Portfolio Associate Senior Registered Associate Carol has more than 13 years of experience in the financial services industry. Her primary role is providing exceptional support for clients. With a broad knowledge of the industry and deep understanding of operations at Morgan Stanley, she is able to anticipate clients needs and promptly address inquiries. Carol plays a central role on the team by managing the operations and enhancing efficiency for the entire team. Carol and her husband, Lane, along with their two children live in South St. Paul. 10 Our Investment Process How We Do It Our investment approach is a disciplined one. We do not maintain margin accounts, sell short, or try to time the market. We concentrate our holdings in well-known stocks, funds, high grade bonds and cash equivalents. We seek acceptable market returns with lower volatility and believe it is more important to protect assets in bear markets than to outperform in bull markets. In our approach, loss of capital is more regrettable than loss of opportunity. We take a top-down view to money management. We analyze broad perspectives of the economy, social and political developments, interest rates, etc. and try to identify those market sectors which we believe provide the greatest opportunity for growth without taking undue risk. We then select the best positioned companies in those sectors we find most attractive and use broad diversification in our asset allocation.
